Things To Do In Nr St Ives

Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden
(Less than a mile)

Experience Barbara Hepworth’s studio and sculpture garden where she lived and worked until her death in 1975. Comprising over 30 years of works in wood, stone, plaster and bronze the museum and garden gives a remarkable insight into one of Britain’s most important 20th Century artists. In the artist's words herself the garden was a ‘studio, yard and garden where she was able to work in open air and space’, most of the bronze sculptures you will see are in the positions in which the artist herself placed them.
