Experience - The Area...

Just two miles north of the pretty harbourside village of St Mawes, this detached double glazed house with beautiful views, is set in a private road which runs almost down to the creek at St Just in Roseland.

The nearest beach is Rosevine, a five minute drive, with an expanse of flat sand at low tide. St Mawes has two beaches on either side of the harbour, a small selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, a passenger ferry operating to Falmouth, and the 16th century St Mawes Castle. The coastal footpath nearby leads down to the picturesque church set in magnificent semi tropical gardens and St Just Pool.

Stay - The Accommodation...

On the ground floor the front door opens into a wide hallway with a wing to the right containing a bathroom W.C. with hand basin and shower over the bath and two bedrooms; a twin bedded room and one which has a double bed. On the extended side of the house is an enlarged sitting / dining room with large picture windows and patio doors to the garden and a fitted kitchen, all with lovely water views.

Open tread stairs lead directly from the sitting / dining room up to the spacious, gallery style, open plan master bedroom with two single beds that can be joined together to make a king size and an en-suite shower room W.C. with hand basin. A large window makes it possible to enjoy the view without getting out of bed and a glazed door opens to a roof terrace overlooking St Just Creek with a glass balustrade.

The garden is bounded bv a waist high stone wall and although the grass itself is level the sloping site gives a considerable drop on one side of the wall - not for adventurous toddlers. There is on-site parking for two cars.

We had a very enjoyable 2 week holiday. It was very relaxing, peaceful and the views are beautiful. The church and grounds are worth taking a look at. We will hopefully be rebooking this same property next year. - Mrs M Waite
"Well equipped house with wonderful views through the valley to the estuary. Very quiet area for a restful holiday. Plenty of family games for evenings in. " Mrs M Britton
"A beautifully positioned property, perfect for a relaxing break. Highly recommended." Mr P Everett
"From the moment we arrived we were absorbed by the wonderful views from this house both from the sitting room and upstairs long balcony. We enjoyed photographing the beautiful sunsets over the sea with sailing boats in the foreground. This cottage is well stocked and in a wonderful position, close to St Just Church which is a haven and some excellent sandy beaches. Some were easy to access and others were reached by coastal path or kayak. We hope to return to explore further." Mrs C May
"Comfortable peaceful cottage with beautiful views. Very relaxing stay. " Mrs L Davies
"Excellent property. Beautiful views." Mrs J Hunt
"Had a lovely stay again, very comfortable and view and balcony amazing." Mrs J Nicholas
