This stylish property boasts a range of terrific Eco credentials including masses of insulation to ensure you are kept cosy and warm and if you need it, underfloor heating efficiently provided by the ground source heat pump.

Old Pear Tree Barn is located in an idyllic and very peaceful part of North Cornwall and is just a few minutes' walk up the lane to the famous 16th century Smugglers Den pub where food and drink is served throughout the day and evening.  The glorious golden sand beach at Holywell is dog friendly and just a half hours walk or short drive by car.  The other dog friendly beaches at Crantock, Perranporth and Fistral in Newquay are a 3, 4 and 6 mile drive respectively.

Stay - The Accommodation...

From the paved, tiered terrace at the back, you enter the charming kitchen dining room with slate flooring. The beautifully presented and equipped kitchen provides all the usual appliances as well as some thoughtful extras. One step down leads to the pretty twin bedroom with comfortable 2'6 beds and adjacent shower room WC.  At the other end of the kitchen is the master bedroom with king size bed and bathroom ensuite WC with shower over.  A set of French doors lead out onto the paved terrace with furniture and views down across the lawn garden and beyond.

A wooden staircase leads up to the tastefully furnished living room with sumptuous easy seating and lovely countryside views from the glass fronted balcony. Sky television and Netflix available.

Outside you will find that the owners of Old Pear Tree Barn have provided an abundance of varied furniture seating styles as well as charcoal barbecue, fire pit and picnic rugs for afternoon naps under the pear tree. The enclosed garden and parking area will provide a safe haven for the younger and four legged members of your family to explore and relax in.

Please note - All weekly bookings come with a complimentary welcome hamper packed with Cornish goodies, cream tea ingredients (of course) and locally produced bacon, eggs and rustic bread for your first morning's breakfast!
