With panoramic views over Sennen Cove and far out to sea, this spacious older style detached bungalow is set back from Sunny Corner Lane in an area of tufted grass and approached by a grassy drive with parking for three cars. A large informal grassy garden surrounds the property, and from here, a gate in the garden wall opens directly onto a fairly steep cliff path which leads down to the lovely sandy and surfing beach of Whitesand Bay and the stunning South West Coast Path.
The lovely sandy beach can be reached by car in under five minutes or a fifteen minute walk down the hill by cliff path and the villages of Sennen and Sennen Cove, approximately 1 mile by road, have a small selection of shops, pubs and restaurants.
Pleasure flights are available from the Lands End Airstrip nearby, there is a golf and country club at Cape Cornwall and some spectacular scenery from the South West Coast Path. The open air Minack Theatre at Porthcurno is within easy reach, as is the seaside town of Penzance.

The door from the landward side opens first into a lobby with an adjacent cloakroom W.C. and from there into a useful utility / storage area.

The fitted kitchen is a comfortably furnished sitting / dining room with television, a log burning stove and a wide archway leads into the double glazed conservatory with glorious views of the sea and coastline from huge picture windows. Kitchen/utility appliances include dishwasher, fridge/freezer, electric hob and oven, microwave and washing machine.

There are two ground floor bedrooms; the master bedroom with a 6ft double and the other with twin beds.

Travel to this most south-western part of the UK and treat yourself to a traditional Cornish coastal holiday in Sennen village. You’ll love Sennen Cove’s golden, sandy beach (also aptly known as Whitesands Bay) and legendary Land’s End a few miles on. Sennen holidays attract holidaymakers aplenty, but this is no surprise as the area boasts stunning beaches, striking cliff faces and spectacular rural landscapes.
Sennen is surrounded by rolling hills, beautiful beaches and lots to see and do. A holiday in Sennen is the perfect base for walks along the scenic coastline, with relics of the village’s mining history cast amongst the countryside. Sennen is rich in history and heritage, including stories of pirates and smuggling – just ask the landlord at the local hostelry, The First and Last Pub, while sipping freshly poured local ale!
A trip to this part of Cornwall is all about the county’s many great beaches, and Sennen has two of the best. Both Sennen Cove and nearby Gwenver beach are incredibly beautiful all year round. The beaches are quieter than bustling Newquay, but still offer great waves. A holiday in Sennen really delivers with surfing schools offering lessons, as well as paddle and bodyboarding. Maybe you’ll go home with a newfound hobby?
For the more relaxed visitor, pack a picnic and find a spot to spend time lazing and recharging while dreamily looking out to sea to spot seals and dolphins – or, locals would have you believe, maybe mermaids playing in the waves! For budding fishermen, pitch up on the shoreline, rod in hand for a catch of the day. If you’re not lucky, either head down to the harbour and join one of the boats for a deep-sea fishing trip, or buy some bass and mackerel (classic Cornish staples) from one of the local fishing boats.
Sennen Cove spoils visitors with glorious coastal views, and depending on when you visit, you may get to witness the immense power and the full force of nature as Atlantic storms roll in. Expect to see huge waves crashing along the dramatic Cornish coastline.
When the sun isn’t shining, treat yourself to a visit at the Roundhouse and Capstan Gallery exhibiting and selling Cornish art and crafts. You’ll find the galley in the village centre; it’s the perfect place to find a souvenir to bring home. You might like to check out Sennen’s own little farmers’ market, held every Tuesday, to stock up on local produce and buy a couple of home-made meals that can be popped into the oven back at your cottage when you’re not eating out at one of the nearby good-eating pubs.

I have been visiting Land's End since 1969 - the area has been truly spoiled now it has the attractions. It used to be so peaceful with beautiful, natural surroundings - just as nature intended. The attractions have now completely ruined the area which is most disappointing. We have started visiting during the evening time only, when the attractions are closed, to try and see Land's End during it's 'quiet time'. Unfortunately, I doubt we will be visiting again - our family visited in a total of 3 cars and we were charged £6 each to park for one hour!!!!! Woulldn't mind if the car park was in good condition but it's a wreck!!!!

Visited here to watch Seth Lakeman twice over his 4 concert weekend. We had a fantastic time - both concerts were excellent made all the more amazing by the Minack Theatre and it's beautiful surroundings. The Minack is a fantastic venue for music events, we have been to quite a few concerts there and always had a good time. The Minack staff are so friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Parking is excellent, again with very friendly helpful staff. Furthermore, the gardens at the Minack are stunning and are well worth a visit.

Porthcurno is located in the far West of Cornwall and has been described by many as a paradise and it’s not hard to see why. With its soft white sand beaches, turquoise sea which gleams in the summer sun and the high cliffs on either side of the beach providing shelter, it is described as an oasis of stunning natural beauty. On the west side of the beach is the famous Minack Theatre and to either side of the beach you will find coastal paths that provide the most breath-taking views. Dogs are welcome on the beach expect between 1 May and 30 September when a seasonal dog ban is in place. Parking can be found just behind the beach.
What a lovely beach. Golden/white sands. Beautiful clear waters. On a calm day great for paddle boarding, swimming and paddling. The beach does drop away quickly and gets deep. We have been when it is wavy too but feels safe with the lifeguards there during high season. Parking can get very busy so I suggest you get there early in the day if you want a space closer to the beach, there are some disabled bays. The spaces are small and if you have a big car I suggest you reverse in so it is easier to get out at the end of a busy day on the beach. There are 3 routes down to the beach. From the Minack which is steep and rocky with lovely views. A path from the car park which is a little uneven and down a slope. My mother managed to get her mobility scooter down this and the lovely Lifeguards let her leave it at the Lifeguard station. There are also some steps down to the beach at the Lifeguards hut.

Walked to Lamorna Cove from Castallack - it was a very nice walk on a lovely and sunny Sunday morning. The cove was very quiet and peaceful, not many visitors around. We sat and enjoyed the view and had an ice-cream from the local cafe; the staff in the cafe were so friendly and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble.

Mousehole is a delightful village. Beautiful scenery and walks, with some interesting shops and places to eat and drink. We ate very well at The Mousehole Deli and Kitchen on the seafront, which has an interesting menu, good coffee, and lovely staff. Bought great gifts at the weekly Craft Market too. Parking in Mousehole is quite limited!

We loved Mousehole! It has real character and we could walk there from our cottage. We swam there twice and the water was wonderful. We also enjoyed pasties, coffee and cake in the village. We would definitely go back there again.

Beautiful, quaint Mousehole, one of our favourite places. Had a lovely stroll around the harbour and village and visited most of the gift shops. Sat for a while in the lovely harbour, so peaceful and quiet.

Walked to Lamorna Cove from Castallack - it was a very nice walk on a lovely and sunny Sunday morning. The cove was very quiet and peaceful, not many visitors around. We sat and enjoyed the view and had an ice-cream from the local cafe; the staff in the cafe were so friendly and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble.

Mousehole is a delightful village. Beautiful scenery and walks, with some interesting shops and places to eat and drink. We ate very well at The Mousehole Deli and Kitchen on the seafront, which has an interesting menu, good coffee, and lovely staff. Bought great gifts at the weekly Craft Market too. Parking in Mousehole is quite limited!

We loved Mousehole! It has real character and we could walk there from our cottage. We swam there twice and the water was wonderful. We also enjoyed pasties, coffee and cake in the village. We would definitely go back there again.

Beautiful, quaint Mousehole, one of our favourite places. Had a lovely stroll around the harbour and village and visited most of the gift shops. Sat for a while in the lovely harbour, so peaceful and quiet.

Great place to watch the world go by. Not brave enough to join the locals jumping from the harbour walls into the water but looked great fun at high tide.
