Experience - The Area...

Karndu Retreat (or Dennis's Den named after the family's 5 month old Airedale Dennis) is a high specification ground floor apartment which is part of the landmark development at Harvey Quay in Hayle.  The apartment overlooks the RSPB nature reserve Carnsew Pool and is just a short walk to the town centre and historic harbour. 

Hayle itself is an unassuming town yet full of character and things to shout about.  Hayle was the first Cornish town to be awarded 'Walkers are Welcome' due to the well maintained footpaths and trails which surround the town.  The towns historic harbour was granted World Heritage Site status in 2006.  A selection of beaches are within easy reach by car and include dog friendly Black Cliff beach and family friendly Hayle Towans beach. The railway station is close by and the property is conveniently located for the local bus too!

St Ives and St Michaels Mount are just 7 miles from Hayle with Penzance and Lands End 8 and 18 miles respectively.

Stay - The Accommodation...

This tastefully furnished and spacious apartment offers generous size accommodation for four people with the bonus of a family bathroom WC and shower room ensuite. The property has engineered oak flooring running through the living space with carpeted bedrooms and hallway.  The apartment is efficiently heated by way of underfloor heating throughout.

From the parking space to the front, a level approach leads into the secure communal foyer.  On entering the apartment the two bedrooms, living space and bathrooms are all accessed from the central hallway.  To the immediate right as you enter the apartment is the very spacious master bedroom with king size bed, wall mounted television with integral DVD and shower ensuite. Further along on the right of the hallway is the modern open plan living, dining and kitchen space with views out towards the Carnsew Nature Reserve Pool. A door leads out onto the enclosed patio/ terrace.

To the rear of the apartment is the twin bedroom (which can be made up as a super king bedroom if required) and again has views towards Carnsew Pool.  Next to the twin bedroom is the attractive family bathroom WC with bath, overhead electric power shower and basin.

The apartment benefits from a designated parking space directly in front of the property as well as an enclosed patio terrace to the rear with furniture.

There is a coastal path to walk behind the property, excellent if you are a bird watcher or for walking the dog and there is also access to the beautiful beaches in Hayle.
