A level path to the front door opens into this cosy cottage self-catering cottage.

Living Room

Comfortable carpeted sitting room to the left with a beamed ceiling, open fireplace, two leather sofas, a television with SKY and window seat overlooking the front. A second carpeted sitting room is to the right with a beamed ceiling, L-shaped sofa in front of the central fireplace with a wood burning stove (not in operation) and a window overlooking the front also with SKY tv. 

Kitchen

The sitting room opens into a fitted kitchen with a vinyl floor, built in electric oven with four ring ceramic hob, small fridge (large fridge/freezer in utility room), dishwasher & Nespresso compatible coffee maker overlooking the garden at the rear. You will be greeted on arrival with a tasty welcome pack.

Dining Room

From the kitchen there is a step down into the dining room with a wood floor, large dining table with chairs and french doors opening out to the south facing garden with views to Godolphin Hill in the distance. 

Utility 

From the second sitting room a step up to a doorway opens into the utility room with a washing machine, separate drying machine, large fridge/freezer and some storage with a games cupboard.

Shower Room

A further step down takes you to the shower room with a vinyl floor, a step up into an electric shower and separate W.C with a small basin. 

From the front door a traditional staircase with ten steps takes you up to the first floor landing. All bedrooms have a step up or down to access them.

Bedroom 1

A kingsize bedroom with a kingsize bed, storage and views over the south facing garden.

Bedroom 2

A double bedroom with a standard double, storage and views over the south facing garden are the rear of the property.

Bedroom 3 & 4

There are two twin bedrooms at the front both with standard single beds, storage and windows overlooking the front.

Bathroom

A family bathroom W.C with corner bath and electric shower over, basin and vinyl floor complete the accommodation. 

Heating

Heating provided via night storage and portable oil heaters.

At the rear of the property is an enclosed south facing garden with a sliding gate at the end to the driveway providing a safe environment for the children to entertain themselves and for the family to enjoy eating outside. Garden furniture and a large gas BBQ is provided.

The town is full of tales of antiquity, with records regaling that it used to be a busy port, hustling and bustling with tin traders from Europe and further afield. Stories tell that the picturesque St. Michael's Mount, nestled on an island in the bay, was granted to monks from Mont St Michel. Nowadays, the colossal castle is home to the St Aubyn family who has lived there since the 17th Century and is run jointly between them and the National Trust, welcoming all visitors with open arms. Follow in the footsteps of the pilgrims and journey across the causeway at low tide or hop on a ferry and marvel at the castle, sub-tropical gardens and working island community.

Marazion's pretty tangle of streets and little lanes are dotted with shops and a multitude of craft and art galleries laden with local artists’ work, ceramics, hand-made jewellery and gifts. There are plenty of food shops for provisions on your Marazion holiday, including a couple of delicious bakeries, with larger supermarkets nearby to stock up on goodies for picnics and quick and easy meals back in your cottage kitchen. 

With such an iconic landmark close by, you'll find a host of restaurants, pubs and eateries serving great food with sensational views of St Michael’s Mount, which is particularly breathtaking in the evenings when the spectacular lights illuminate the castle.

Marazion boasts two beautiful golden beaches with views for miles. Sit on the warm, soft sand and marvel at the sweeping panorama that spans from The Lizard all the way down to Mousehole, with St Michael's Mount peeping into the picture. A well-kept secret of the town is their quieter, stony beach just off Leys Lane. It's a small bay sprinkled with rock pools bursting with aquatic wildlife – so take your bucket and spade and enjoy time hunting for crabs and limpets in the bubbling meres.

In late spring and summer, the town takes part in the region's horticultural event – Southwest In Bloom. Marazion bursts into a riot of colourful displays in public areas, joined by business owners and the proud and friendly locals who plant and tend immaculate window boxes and gardens. The whole town takes part in creating a kaleidoscope of colour, worthy of gorgeous photos to remind you of your stay. 

For fans of the festive season, Christmas holidays in Marazion should be on your horizon as Marazion does Christmas big time! Think thousands of twinkly lights and a huge Christmas tree taking centre stage in the town square. The businesses and locals again join forces in decorating the town and put on a calendar of merry events culminating in the Man in Red arriving on a sleigh to hand out presents to little ones.

If you're journeying to Marazion with younger members of the family, there is plenty to keep them occupied! Folly Field is home to a large play park equipped with climbing equipment and swings for hours of fun monkeying around. Nearby, Red River is great for paddling during warmer weather if you don't fancy the sea. It's home to schools of tiny fish who may nibble at your toes!
