Just a short drive from the market town of Marazion is the village of Goldsithney where Trelawney, a first floor fully self contained apartment, provides a great base from which to explore Cornwall.
Goldsithney is set back from the tourist rush but it has the accessibility to discover West Cornwall easily. This charming village has a bus stop so you can access Penzance via the lovely Marazion or go on another route where you can sightsee the maritime town, Falmouth via the fishing village of Portleven. However you decide to travel, Goldsithney is a great base for your holiday and you can easily access many seaside villages, gardens, attractions and of course the beaches around Cornwall.
Goldsithney has 2 popular traditional Cornish pubs along with a post office and general store, where you can buy the basics for the start of your holiday.
Perranuthnoe or as some call it, Perran Sands, is a 20 minute walk from Trelawney and is a great sandy beach at low tide. It is a reputable secluded beach with a few places to eat in the village which are all well known in the area.
Less than two miles from Goldsithney is the bustling town of Marazion with sandy beaches and an array of interesting shops and eateries. Marazion also boasts having St Michaels Mount on its doorstep which is a Cornwall visit must, walking along the famous causeway is a truly a great experience! The towns of Penzance and St Ives are 5 and 10 miles respectively. This part of Cornwall has many different places to access the coastal paths.
Stay - The Accommodation...
The apartment is located in the heart of Goldsithney and is accessed from the designated parking space at the rear via a wooden external open tread staircase. Once inside you will find that the apartment is very well laid out and provides comfortable and spacious accommodation for three.
The apartment accommodation comprises of a double bedroom to the rear with a thermostatically controlled wall mounted electric heater, ample hanging and drawer space and a further single bedroom to the front again with ample hanging space. There is a shower room WC with good size shower tray, wash hand basin and heated towel rail. Completing the accommodation layout to the front of the apartment is the open plan living and dining room with well equipped kitchen with an oven, microwave, toaster, kettle and a small washing machine.
