Staying here also means that you are just 5 miles from Looe and 8 miles from Polperro so super convenient for exploring the south east coast of the County. There are a selection of dog friendly beaches all within a 25 minute drive of St Keyne including the beaches at Hannafore, Seaton, Downderry and Talland Bay.
The Church of St Keyne opposite the Little Old School House is registered with the Cornwall Historic Churches Trust and the famous Holy Well near the church is said to 'give the upper hand to whichever of the two newlywed's first drinks from it' - don't all rush at once!
Places of interest nearby to visit include the Monkey Sanctuary (9 miles), Boconnoc House and Gardens (10 miles) and Restormel Castle (13 miles).
The neighbouring village of Duloe is 2 miles away and has a super pub serving food at lunchtimes and evenings. The friendly village shop and post office in Duloe has a great range of local products to purchase as well as the essentials, pay them a visit.
Stay - The Accommodation...
A flight of external granite steps lead up to the front door. Once inside, the light and airy living space with large windows at each end and vaulted ceiling can't fail to impress. The open plan space incorporates comfortable easy seating, dining table with chairs and well equipped kitchen. The attractive wooden flooring is softened by clever use of rugs and the soft pale blue theme that runs through is most relaxing.
A carpeted staircase with hand rail leads down to the two bedrooms and family bathroom WC. Both bedrooms are located to the rear of the property with the king size bedroom having direct access out into the enclosed garden area. There is ample storage space between the bedrooms and both rooms are carpeted. The small but perfectly formed bathroom has a bath with overhead mixer shower, wash basin and heated towel rail.
The property is efficiently heated via gas central heating.
There is private, off road parking for one vehicle next to the property. The enclosed gravel garden space to the side is very pretty with garden furniture provided.
This property welcomes two small or medium size dogs.
