Experience - The Area...

Just 6 miles from the picturesque fishing villages at Looe and Polperro on the South Coast, these two stone-built spacious and comfortable cottages form part of a converted 19th century former mill and benefit from double glazing and a biomass boiler for central heating and hot water.

On a working family farm set to one side of the original farmhouse with 180 acres of beautiful rural countryside including a 10-acre woodland noted for its birds and wildlife that links with footpaths leading down to the West Looe Valley.

Each cottage has their own gated patio garden in addition to a separate shared lawn with barbecue area and there is ample parking space for all visitors on-site. Please note pets and young children will require supervision on this working farm where agricultural/commercial vehicles operate.

Lanreath, 1/2 a mile, has a 15th century church and small village store/P.O. and the village of Pelynt 1.5 miles is home to the 400 year old Jubilee Inn and a few local shops. Fowey via the Bodinnick car ferry, Polruan and Lerryn are all within a 15 minute drive and both the Eden Project and the NT Lanhydrock House can be reached in half an hour by car.

If the two cottages are rented together, a locked interconnecting door can be made available given prior notice for larger parties.

Stay - The Accommodation...

Entered from a walled and gated garden with a level lawn, three steps and a gravel path leads up to the front door which opens to a spacious, tiled entrance hall with a high beamed ceiling and underfloor heating.

The ground floor accommodation consists of a well equipped farmhouse style fitted kitchen/breakfast room, an adjacent utility room with laundry facilities, and a cloakroom W.C. with hand basin.

There is also a very generous sized living room with beamed ceiling, a Cornish stone fireplace, comfortable seating overlooking the lawned front garden and an additional dining area. The property is efficently heated by Biomass energy.

From the hallway carpeted stairs lead up to a sunny first floor landing and three pleasant bedrooms, all with views of the surrounding farmland; there is a dual aspect master bedroom with a 5ft double and en-suite shower room W.C. and hand basin, a twin bedded room, and the third bedroom with the option of a 6ft double or 3ft zip linked twin beds.

A bathroom W.C. with hand basin, bath and shower cubicle completes the accommodation.
