Experience - The Area...
Appletree Court is a small development of three tastefully presented, brand new apartments which have been built on the site of an old Cornish apple orchard. Located in an elivated position in the heart of the maritime town of Falmouth, Appletree Court apartments are ideal for guests wishing to visit Cornwall without transport as the bus, train and ferry links that service Falmouth and surrounding areas are very good. Each apartment has an off road, dedicated parking space too!
Just around the corner from Appletree Court is a lovely pub called the Seaview Inn which does exactly what it says on the can! The Inn serves food at lunchtime and in the evenings and has outside seating to take in the lovely views. A few minutes' walk down to Market Street (the main high street in Falmouth), which has a variety of high street and independent shops and galleries to peruse.
At the far end of Market Street is the world famous Maritime Museum with a selection of cafes, pubs and restaurants along the way.The popular Gyllyngvase and Castle beaches are a 4 and 6 minute drive respectively. The bustling cathedral city of Truro is just over 10 miles away and is well worth a visit.
Stay - The Accommodation...
Given the shipping and boating connections Falmouth is known for, the apartments have each been named after famous America Cup challengers. The centrally heated apartments are fully self-contained with the benefit of a dedicated off road parking space per apartment. The apartments are accessed by a small communal lobby and then up a split staircase with 6 and 7 steps per section;
Genesta is a comfortably furnished first floor apartment for three people. The smart kitchen is of open plan style within the pleasantly furnished living and dining room. There is a double bedroom with 4'6 double bed and a very good size single bedroom to the rear of the apartment with a family bathroom WC with bath, overhead shower, basin and heated towel rail.
There is practical wood effect flooring running through each of the apartments and each apartment is heated by gas central heating.
To the rear, via a covered entrance (8 foot high) is the apartment parking area where there is also a small communal decked area with furniture for guests staying at Appletree Court exclusive use.
