Description

Experience - The Area...

With magnificent coastal views of the sea across Cawsand Bay to Plymouth Sound, this recently renovated and extended cottage is set on the South West coastal footpath that leads through the heart of the small unspoilt village of Cawsand. The fairly sheltered cove has a sandy beach just 10 yards away, with a summer ferry running directly across to the Mayflower steps on the Barbican, a half hour journey.

Cawsand has a pub and water sports facilities are available on the beach during the summer months. There are also wonderful coastal walks around Rame Head to Whitsand Bay and in the opposite direction to Mount Edgcumbe Park. For more information go to: www.cawsandbedandbreakfast.co.uk

Stay - The Accommodation...

The front door opens to a small lobby with coat pegs and a part glazed inner door leads into a hallway with a cloakroom W.C. and tiny basin.  To one side a door opens to a delightful, light and airy sitting room with some original stonework retained from the former boathouse and a comfortable leather suite arranged before a large picture window with fine views of the beach, sea and rock pools below.

A wide archway leads to the pleasant dining area with a rustic table, chairs and settle style bench seats and at the rear a door opens to a recent extension and a well equipped, smart fitted kitchen with an internal window into the lounge which shares the lovely sea views. There is a back door to a small service yard at the rear.

Carpeted stairs wind up from the hall to the first floor where there are two attractive bedrooms; a double bedroom with a four poster bed, stunning views of the coastline and an en-suite shower room W.C. and hand basin.  The second bedroom at the rear with a 5ft double, french windows opening to a sheltered sun terrace with metal railings and an en-suite shower room W.C. with hand basin and laundry facilities.

The winding carpeted staircase continues up to the second floor and a pretty twin bedded room with a small sitting area set beneath huge skylight windows with breathtaking views towards the sea and cliffs and an en-suite shower room W.C. and hand basin.

It is possible to unload outside the property and parking is in the village car park less than 5 minutes walk away.

Don't forget...

- A weekly car park ticket currently costs £36.40. Towels not available. Sorry, this property does not accept pets.
