One of the nation’s favourite seaside resorts, holidays in Newquay offer something for everyone. Whether you’re dreaming of an action-packed family holiday or a super surf break, this vibrant coastal town has it all.

Wherever you stay in Newquay, you’re never far from a beach. And with twelve sweeping, sandy bays to choose from, there’s something for everyone. From iconic Fistral beach and popular Towans in the centre of town, to Watergate Bay and Lusty Glaze, you can build sandcastles, sunbathe, swim and surf 'til your heart’s content.

A holiday in Newquay wouldn’t be complete without going for a surf. Known as the surf capital of the UK, both beginners and pros flock to Newquay for its consistent swell. You’ll find plenty of surf schools and hire shops, as well as the Boardmasters Festival which takes place every August and sees professional surfers compete in the World Surf League competition on Fistral beach, followed by a popular music festival at Watergate Bay.

If you’re planning a family holiday in Newquay, you’ll be spoilt for choice with plenty of things to do, no matter the weather. On rainy days, visit the Blue Reef Aquarium, Newquay Zoo or Lappa Valley Steam Railway. For outdoor adventures, there’s an abundance of watersport opportunities, plus the South West Coast Path runs through the town so you can set off and walk for miles along the cliff tops, discovering new beaches, abundant wildlife and spectacular sea views.

You’ll find no shortage of places to eat and drink in Newquay. Tuck into fish ’n’ chips on the beach, enjoy a pint of real Cornish ale in one of the traditional old pubs or dance the night away until the early hours in one of Newquay’s nightclubs and bars.

With a train station and airport with regular flights from London, you can easily book a short break in Newquay. Escape the hustle and bustle of the city on a Friday and find sand between your toes on Saturday morning. And there’s no need to only visit in the summer. Book a winter getaway in Newquay and enjoy romantic strolls along empty beaches, watching stormy waves crash into the cliffs before cosying up in front of a fire in your Cornish cottage.

August 2023

We had a great time at Crysawna which had enough space to relax in on the rainy days. Lisa provided an excellent service replacing a faulty fridge freezer within 12 hours and without fuss. The location is great with a 5 minute walk into Newquay. Lots of quality restaurants, highly recommend Toast, 12 Beach Road and Secret Garden. Newquay is a great base to visit many other attractions. The accommodation is great but don’t expect any views. Thank you and would highly recommend.

July 2023

A hidden gem, we will look to return?

June 2023

Lovely property inside. Beds very comfortable, we enjoyed our stay. Great base for exploring the north east coast of Cornwall.

October 2022

Beautifully clean and comfortable house in a convenient location. Our second visit to Crysawna and, we hope, not our last.

August 2022

Me and my family had a excellent experience, everything was within walking distance. We'll be defiantly booking another stay.

August 2022

It was a pleasure to stay here. Was above our expectations and would definitely recommend and stay again. Thankyou to the owner it made our stay more enjoyable.

August 2022

Yes the stay was lovely, and close to amenities. Outside by the front door there was a lot of cigarette ends and wrappers. there was hair in the drawers and the remains of insects around the skirting boards in the main bedroom.

June 2022

Absolutely loved our stay that much so we didn’t want to leave definitely the home away from home and will definitely be staying again but longer next time x

May 2022

Was a lovely property, shall book again

May 2022

Enjoyed our stay

August 2021

Fab location and it is a hidden gem!

June 2021

Great area for walking and the beaches are beautiful. Most of the beaches are dog friendly. A little lacking on nice eateries and pubs but overall we can not complain.

May 2021

Very comfortable, modern property with everything you need for a great holiday, well equipped property kitchen wise, in a great position in Newquay (5 mins walk into town) wouldn't hesitate to recommend to family & friends.

July 2020

Although the property lacks any kerb side appeal it's a fantastic base for making the most of everything that Newquay has to offer. Plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 teenage boys. We cooked at home twice and there was everything you need to cook a meal. Only downside was the mattress on the double bed which was far too firm for us. We would happily stay again.
