With stunning sea views and direct access on to the South West Coast Path, this recently refurbished first floor apartment is one of four converted from a spacious detached house set in an elevated position above the cove at Mawgan Porth. Mid way between Newquay and Padstow on the North Cornish Coast, this is an ideal position for exploring the dramatic coastline and just a two minute walk to the popular family beach with fine sand between two steep headlands.
The village of Mawgan Porth, a five minute walk along the beach or half a mile by road, has a pub, newsagent and small store, and for a wider selection of amenities, follow the picturesque coast road to either Padstow 8 miles or Newquay 6 miles. There are some spectacular cliff walks along the coastal path to Watergate Bay and Bedruthan Steps, and also a delightful walk inland through the Vale of Lanherne to St Mawgan. The Scarlet Hotel nearby has a premier day spa and restaurant available to non-residents and there is a hilltop golf course and driving range nearby.
Entered from the shared driveway where there are two allocated parking spaces, a short path and a series of shallow steps lead to the private entrance at the rear. A half glazed door opens directly into a light and airy fitted kitchen with New England style units and a built-in breakfast bar with solid beech worktop and two high stools. Leading off to one side is an inner hallway giving access to a shower room W.C. with vanity basin and a delightful kingsize double bedroom positioned so that you can enjoy the superb sea and coastal views.
On the opposite side of the kitchen is an attractive twin bedded room with vanity basin, and a long, freshly decorated living room at the front of the property with magnificent sea views from three double glazed picture windows. The lovely room comprises of comfortable lounge seating, a pleasant dining area and an easy chair in one corner with a birds eye view.
A half glazed door opens in one corner of the lounge to a private glass balustrade balcony with glorious views of the sea and coastline and a great place to enjoy the spectacular sunsets - young children must be supervised. A communal grassy garden surrounded by a low stone wall is on the seaward side of the house with a footpath leading from here down to the sandy beach and the coast path.

Dolphins Leap was first class and can't fault it in any way, the view is amazing and everything that we needed. Weren't too impressed with Newquay, its 45 years since we went to Newquay & it has changed a lot not for the better. - Mr P Waterfield
"A lovely holiday home with plenty of comfortable seating on which to enjoy the amazing views and sunsets. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and spacious. Lots of thoughtful extras, like a game's cupboard, maps and books and cushions and sun umbrella for the outside patio. " Mrs L Baker
"The apartment is very well equipped with everything you will need it's like home from home, I didn't need to pack half of what I did as I didn't realise there would be washing up/washing powder/ dishwasher tabs/tin foil etc available. Location great for exploring the surrounding area, can drive to various beaches with no problems at all. " Mrs L Gore
