Experience - The Area...

Just a five minute walk to Constantine Bay beach and with a private outdoor heated pool, what more could you ask from your chosen Cornish holiday home?

The wonderful stretch of golden sand beach at Constantine Bay is 0.3 of a miles walk from Gullyn as is the convenience store. There are a couple of excellent restaurants on the doorstep which are open to non-residents. The Quies restaurant and bar at the nearby Treglos Hotel (open March to November) and The Constantine Restaurant and bar at Trevose Golf Club are within a 5 - 15 minute walk respectively and booking for both is advisable.

A little further along the coast you will find the glorious beaches at Treyarnon Bay and Harlyn Bay which are 1.2 and 1.5 miles respectively. The charming and very popular fishing harbour at Padstow with selection of shops and high quality restaurants is just over 4 miles by car.

Stay - The Accommodation...

Gullyn is a very comfortable and spacious four bedroom bungalow set in an elevated position on Sandy Common looking down across the rooftops of Constantine Bay and out to sea.

From the parking area at the front, seven steps lead up to the front paved terrace with patio furniture and a further two steps up to the front door.

A spacious entrance hallway greets you with ample space for hanging coats and kicking off shoes. Off the hallway and up two steps is the living room with lovely views, comfortable easy seating and attractive fireplace with wood burner. To the other side of the living room and down another two steps is the generously proportioned kitchen and dining room with further easy seating provided to take in the view of the pretty garden to the rear. The well equipped kitchen has all the usual appliances for your convenience including a smart Lacanche range cooker with five ring gas hob and electric oven. Large bi-folding doors open up and lead out from the dining room onto a decked area with furniture provided for alfresco dining. 

The pleasant, enclosed lawn garden with pretty shrubs is to the rear with the heated swimming pool fenced off for younger members of your party's safety and wellbeing. A paved terrace surrounds the swimming pool with furniture once again provided. Children must be supervised at all times when using this facility. The swimming pool is available between the end of May and the end of September. For pool dimension and depth information - please see below. 

Back inside Gullyn you will find four bedrooms comprising of a double (with Oriental style low double bed) to the front with sea views, super king bed also to the front with views, a twin bedroom to the middle of the property and a further twin bedroom to the rear with its own shower WC ensuite and patio sliding door out into the rear garden. The other three bedrooms are served by a family bathroom WC with bath, overhead mixer shower, basin and heated towel rail located opposite the middle twin bedroom. A further shower room WC is located off the kitchen/dining room with large shower cubicle, basin and heated towel rail.

All bedrooms with the exception of the rear ensuite twin are carpeted and there is ample hanging and storage space between them.

The property is centrally heated (out of season) via a number of radiators. The wood burner is available for use all year and logs can be purchased from the local store (at certain times of year) and nearby garages and supermarkets.
