The village of Blisland lies about five miles east of Bodmin, and two miles off the A30 to the North. The village is a scenic gem on the north-western edge of Bodmin Moor. It has a fine Norman Church and a number of interesting stone buildings, all situated around the village green. The pub serves excellent food and offers fine ale. Blisland is unique in Cornwall in having a village green, and this adds greatly to the village's overall appeal.
