My day out: Newquay Trampoline and Play Park

On a rainy day during the summer holidays, I decided to take my two children to an indoor attraction in Cornwall. We quite often go to iBounce in Bodmin but the trampoline park in Newquay has recently opened so we wanted to try somewhere different and were pleased with what Newquay Trampoline and Play Park had to offer.

The indoor attraction has a soft play area suited to under 12s, with facilities for the whole family to enjoy. If you’re planning a children’s birthday party and want somewhere indoors, then this is a great place for a celebration, with exciting party rooms and different packages to choose from. They also host adult parties too for the young at heart.

The park was great, clean and everything was perfect and new. Before your bouncing session, you also get a full safety briefing and each bouncing session lasts an hour. There was also staff on site ready to deal with any emergency, as well as being on hand to guide the children to jump when it is safe to do so, even though they’d already watched a safety video. It’s always good to have this kind of backup. While we were there, the manager was also available to answer any questions people had about the park, which we found a great help and it didn’t hold up the main queue at all.

After the kids were all done with their bouncing, we stopped in the cafe for some lunch. A packed lunch meal was £4, including a drink, which I thought was very reasonable. Once the kids had finished their food, they went off to explore the soft play area, while I stayed with a cuppa in the seating section with a view, so I could keep an eye on where they were.

I would love to visit Newquay Trampoline and Play Park again and so would my children. We may even have a birthday party here because the packages look great. An hour is plenty for an eight year old and a ten year old here — they couldn’t do any more than an hour at once, although you get an additional hour in the soft play area free when you book a trampolining slot, which was brilliant as they loved it.
