Travel CotSet in peaceful countryside this delightful converted annexe to a large 19th Century farmhouse is situated in the rural hamlet of Welltown, to one side of a quiet lane on the southern perimeter of Bodmin Moor.
The front door opens directly from a cobbled courtyard into a fresh, well equipped kitchen with fitted units and a dining area. To one side, a glass panelled door leads through to an attractive sitting room with a parquet floor and warm, comfortable seating facing the electric living flame stove. French Windows offer beautiful countryside views and open onto a cobbled patio and enclosed private seating area.
The farmhouse gardens and pond slope away from this area. Visitors are welcome to walk in the two adjoining fields if there is no stock in them. Stairs lead up from the kitchen to a landing, a light and pleasant double bedroom, a bathroom W.C. with hand basin and shower over the bath and a twin bedded room with some exposed stonework and a glorious view over the garden to lush fields and wooded hills beyond.
The locality abounds with country footpaths and winding lanes and the moor offers attractive walking and small villages within easy driving distance. The village of Mount, a mile away, has a telephone box and St Neot, 3 miles, has a post office and village pub offering good food. For a wider selection of amenities the town of Bodmin is 6 miles away, the North and South coast beaches are each a 30 minute drive and Lanhydrock House and the Eden Project are 6 and 10 miles respectively.
