Property Details

With lovely views over open countryside towards the sea this very spacious detached bungalow is set in the peaceful hamlet of Trewetha only half a mile inland from the unspoilt fishing village of Port Isaac on the dramatic North Coast. Approached by a tarmac drive where there is room for three cars, a short path leads up to a covered porch and the front door opens to a large inner hallway.

To one side is a spacious, comfortably furnished sitting room with a Cornish stone fireplace and nice views of the sea and coastline, and a well equipped fitted kitchen with a dining area set before sliding patio doors overlooking fields and St Endellion church in the distance.

There are three good size bedrooms, a twin with rural views of the countryside, one with sturdy full-size bunk beds, and a 5ft double with sea views on the horizon and an en suite shower room W.C. and hand basin. A further bathroom W.C. with hand basin completes the accommodation.

An integral garage houses the tumble dryer and secure storage space is available for bicycles and beachgear. The garden is well fenced with a lawn and patio area neighbouring onto the owners farmland, and there are a number of footpaths leading down the valley and along the cliffs towards Port Isaac and Port Gaverne where there are small stoney beaches at low tide.

The nearest shop and pub is at the top end of Port Isaac about half a mile away, and a steep walk down leads to the picturesque fishing port with several working crabbers. Cornwall holiday cottage footer
