Please note: Bed linen and towels are not available, but can be provided for overseas guests only
Set in a large mature garden within a couple of minutes walk down hill to the beach at Gorran Haven and with glimpses of the sea across cottage rooftops this spacious accommodation is in the major part of an attractive extended cottage of great character.
Approached from a gated parking area by a path and short flight of steps down through the sloping lawned garden edged by a trickling stream at one side. The glazed front door opens into a hall with coat pegs to one side. A step down leads into a wide sitting / dining room with a low beamed ceiling with views down over the village to the sea and a door to a railed terrace. A step up from the sitting room leads to a well fitted kitchen / breakfast room with a vinyl cushion floor and pine units.
Stairs go directly up from the sitting room to a landing on two levels, a bathroom / w.c. with hand basin and separate shower cubicle and to three bedrooms. These have a double bed, a 4ft double bed and a double and alternative single respectively.
The beach, pub and small shops are all within a few minutes walk. One pet is welcome but the garden is not totally secure for pets and toddlers will require supervision.

When a property shows 'sleeps' in the format X-Y, X equals the maximum number of adults that can comfortably be accommodated and Y indicates the maximum number of adults + children that can be comfortably accommodated in the property.
Our rating method, the popular "smiles" system is generated entirely by the feedback we receive from our visitors. The number of smiles is arrived at by taking the average grading given to the question:
How would you rate the cottage's fittings, furnishings and equipment?’
A property will achieve a rating of 5 Smiles down to 1 Smile, although it is our policy not to carry any properties with ratings lower than 3 Smiles. The customer chooses from the following ratings:

There is an extra charge for pets, most commonly at £18 pppw (per pet per week).
Assistance dogs are of course welcome in all our cottages free of charge, however owners of them should be aware that a considerable number of people are allergic to dogs and in some cases can have a severe reaction. Owners are therefore encouraged, where at all possible, to choose a property which normally allows pets.
Some properties accept pets other than dogs, but in all cases we are required to confirm consent from the cottage owner. Please contact the office on 01208 821 666 if you would like to take a pet other than a dog with you to one of our cottages.
