With stunning views across the harbour to Polruan, out to sea and upriver to the entrance of Pont Creek, this spacious Victorian town house is situated on the waterfront in Fowey. Recently updated offering comfortable accommodation arranged on four storeys.
Entered at road level, the wide front door opens directly into an entrance hallway. On one side is a bright and sunny sitting room with a large bay window, comfortable cane seating and superb panoramic views of Fowey harbour.
On the opposite side of the hall are a newly fitted kitchen and an adjacent dining room with pine furniture and the same wonderful views of the harbour from a large bay window. At the rear of the hallway, a half glazed door leads to a delightful breakfast balcony with similar views.
From the hall, stairs descend to the garden level where there are a cloakroom W.C., a separate shower room with vanity basin and heated towel rail and also a utility room with laundry facilities. A glazed door leads out to a paved sun terrace surrounded by the sea wall boasting fine harbour views (there is no access to the foreshore).
The first floor accommodation consists of two double bedrooms both of good size with glorious views of the river across to Polruan and out to sea. There is also a newly fitted shower room with vanity basin and heated towel rail, and a separate W.C.
From the first floor landing, stairs lead up to the top floor where there is a twin bedded room tucked under the eaves with a birds eye view of the river and the harbour mouth from a dormer window. It is possible to briefly unload outside the property, and the nearest car park is a 10 minute walk uphill from the house.
There is a wide range of shops, pubs and restaurants a few minutes walk away and it is half a mile to the small beach at Readymoney Cove and St Catherines Castle. Pleasure boats leave from the Town Quay during the season and there are lovely coastal walks via the Polruan passenger ferry. The picturesque villages of Polperro and Looe can be accessed by the Bodinnick car ferry nearby.
Please note: The nearest car park is a 10 minute uphill walk from the property. Weekly car park ticket currently costs £35. Towels not available. No children under 10.- Dishwasher

Assistance dogs are of course welcome in all our cottages free of charge, however owners of them should be aware that a considerable number of people are allergic to dogs and in some cases can have a severe reaction. Owners are therefore encouraged, where at all possible, to choose a property which normally allows pets.
Some properties accept pets other than dogs, but in all cases we are required to confirm consent from the cottage owner. Please contact the office on 01208 821 666 if you would like to take a pet other than a dog with you to one of our cottages.
- Select the check box next to the week(s) you wish to book. Multiple weeks can only be booked consecutively. Non consecutive weeks must be booked separately.
- A summary of your booking will appear. To proceed with the booking select the 'Continue booking' button in the summary box. Deselect the weeks to remove the summary box.
- Weeks marked as 'Reserve' (highlighted in blue) cannot be booked at this point in time because availability and prices have not yet been agreed with the owner. You can reserve these weeks in your name until availability and pricing has been agreed. It is important to note that a 'Reserved' period can only be confirmed in your name if the owner wishes to make the Reserved period available for booking.
- 'Reserved' weeks (as opposed to 'Reserve' weeks) can only be booked by a customer who has 'Reserved' the highlighted period.
All prices are per week per property. Many properties promote an all inclusive price although some charge for extras such as bed linen, towels, heating and/or electricity. The Property description will detail any extra charges.
Booked: A customer has committed to a holiday period by paying a deposit or the full amount for a rental period.
Reserved: When a property is not yet available to be booked, a customer can 'Reserve' the property in their name on a first come first served basis. When Cornish Traditional Cottages and the owner have agreed availability and pricing for your selected period we will contact you to let you know if you can then book the property in your name. A Reservation does not guarantee a booking because the owner has first right of refusal on all availability.
Prices for short breaks are as follows:
- Up to 3 nights: 62% of the weekly price
- 4 nights: 71.5% of the weekly price
- 5 nights: 91% of the weekly price
- 6 nights: 100% of the weekly price
It is important to note that a 'Reserved' period can only be booked if the owner wishes to make the 'Reserved' period available for booking. Upon completion of your reservation you will receive confirmation by email or post containing details of the reservation.
