A peaceful, Wisteria clad barn attached to the owners cottage with uninterrupted views of the surrounding countryside from a new sun deck and just a few minutes drive from Mylor Creek and yacht harbour, offering a good base from which to explore both country and creekside walks.
The freshly renovated accommodation is the entire upper level of the barn and is approached from the parking area by half a dozen wooden railed steps leading up to a gated path and the delightful country garden. A further six steps lead up to the large sun deck where there is patio furniture and French Windows opening to a pleasant L shaped living room, part beamed and with some exposed granite walling.
To one side is comfortable lounge seating facing a wood burner effect flicker flame fire and on the other is a newly fitted kitchen with solid pine and beech units and a dining suite next to a glazed door overlooking the grounds.
There are two bedrooms, one with a double Victorian brass bed and a bunk room with sturdy 3ft pine bunk beds, both with wall mounted electric heaters. To complete the accommodation there is a spacious bathroom W.C. with vanity basin and shower over the bath.
A secluded hedged and gated grassy garden for the sole use of visitors is set to one side of the barn with a generous sized lawn and plenty of room for pets and childrens games. The owners have a small occasional guest bedroom beneath the barn.
There is off road parking for one car in the courtyard and room for a small boat trailer. Mylor Bridge, 2.5 miles, has a village store, post office and pub at the head of the tidal creek, and Mylor harbour with a yacht club and sailing centre is 3 miles. The Pandora Inn is a delightful waterfront medieval inn about 2.5 miles away and the resort of Falmouth with a variety of beaches, Pendennis Castle and the National Maritime Museum is 3.5 miles. There is also a plenitude of public and National Trust gardens to visit within a short drive.

How would you rate the cottage's fittings, furnishings and equipment?’
A property will achieve a rating of 5 Smiles down to 1 Smile, although it is our policy not to carry any properties with ratings lower than 3 Smiles. The customer chooses from the following ratings:
- Excellent
- Good
- Satisfactory

- Poor
Assistance dogs are of course welcome in all our cottages free of charge, however owners of them should be aware that a considerable number of people are allergic to dogs and in some cases can have a severe reaction. Owners are therefore encouraged, where at all possible, to choose a property which normally allows pets.
Some properties accept pets other than dogs, but in all cases we are required to confirm consent from the cottage owner. Please contact the office on 01208 821 666 if you would like to take a pet other than a dog with you to one of our cottages.
- Select the check box next to the week(s) you wish to book. Multiple weeks can only be booked consecutively. Non consecutive weeks must be booked separately.
- A summary of your booking will appear. To proceed with the booking select the 'Continue booking' button in the summary box. Deselect the weeks to remove the summary box.
- Weeks marked as 'Reserve' (highlighted in blue) cannot be booked at this point in time because availability and prices have not yet been agreed with the owner. You can reserve these weeks in your name until availability and pricing has been agreed. It is important to note that a 'Reserved' period can only be confirmed in your name if the owner wishes to make the Reserved period available for booking.
- 'Reserved' weeks (as opposed to 'Reserve' weeks) can only be booked by a customer who has 'Reserved' the highlighted period.
All prices are per week per property. Many properties promote an all inclusive price although some charge for extras such as bed linen, towels, heating and/or electricity. The Property description will detail any extra charges.
Booked: A customer has committed to a holiday period by paying a deposit or the full amount for a rental period.
Reserved: When a property is not yet available to be booked, a customer can 'Reserve' the property in their name on a first come first served basis. When Cornish Traditional Cottages and the owner have agreed availability and pricing for your selected period we will contact you to let you know if you can then book the property in your name. A Reservation does not guarantee a booking because the owner has first right of refusal on all availability.
Prices for short breaks are as follows:
- Up to 3 nights: 62% of the weekly price
- 4 nights: 71.5% of the weekly price
- 5 nights: 91% of the weekly price
- 6 nights: 100% of the weekly price
It is important to note that a 'Reserved' period can only be booked if the owner wishes to make the 'Reserved' period available for booking. Upon completion of your reservation you will receive confirmation by email or post containing details of the reservation.
