Just 1.5 miles from the sandy Blue Flag surfing beach at Porthtowan and 2.5 miles from the beach and old harbour at Portreath, this comfortable accommodation comprises the entire ground floor of a recently extended semi-detached Cornish stone cottage set in the small rural hamlet of Forge close to the beautiful North Cornwall Coast. Entered from the shared block paved driveway, a couple of steps leaddown to the front door which opens to a small entrance porch with coatpegs. An inner door leads directly into the warm and cosy sitting room with a high beamed ceiling, laminate wood flooring, and comfortable lounge seating facing an electric coal effect fire set in a Cornish slate hearth. At the rear, a door opens to a newly fitted kitchen /breakfast room with a quarry tiled floor, modern fitted units and a pine dining suite, and to one side, an inner hallway leads to a spacious bedroom with a double bed and countryside views and an adjacent shower room W.C. with hand basin. From the kitchen, a rear door leads out to an enclosed paved courtyard with patio furniture and there is a designated on site parking space for one car in front of the owners greenhouse attached to the cottage. Porthtowan, 1.5 miles, has a pub, village store/P.O., seasonal beach café and surf hire shop. St Agnes is just over 3 miles and has a good selection of local shops and the cathedral city of Truro is about a 20 minute drive. Golf is available at Perranporth to the east and Tehidy Country Park to the west, a handicap certificate is required for the latter. The Mineral Tramway coast-to-coast cycle trail and the South West Coastal Footpath with wonderful scenery are within easy reach and this is also a very central base for touring the whole of Cornwall.
