An attractive, grade II listed, tucked away cottage at the bottom end of a picturesque stepped row known as Stippy Stappy. Approached by a short but steep footpath that runs past the cottages and on to join the lane down to the sandy family beach of Trevaunance Cove, half a mile away, an ideal base for the beach-going family yet within easy reach of all the village amenities.
It is entered from a sheltered enclosed, slate paved patio garden to the front through a small porch with a stable door and an inner glazed door leading into a comfortable open-plan beamed living room with pine furniture and two windows with window seats looking out over trees at one end and the front patio. Beneath the stairs, a fitted galley kitchen has cream coloured New England style units, a ceramic hob with integral oven and a back door to the external laundry room, the rear pathway is occasionally used as access to the cottage next door.
Upstairs are two bedrooms with a double and bunk beds respectively, a bathroom W.C. with hand basin and an unusual first floor French door leading to the terraced hillside garden behind the cottage. This has small patio areas, a summer house and a wild section of fenced woodland. Young children will need supervision in this part of the garden.
St Agnes has a good selection of shops, pubs, restaurants and a garage. The National Trust beach of Chapel Porth is about a mile away and this area has breathtaking cliff walks. It is possible to unload and sometimes park on the road at the top of Stippy Stappy otherwise the village car park is free of charge.

Our rating method, the popular "smiles" system is generated entirely by the feedback we receive from our visitors. The number of smiles is arrived at by taking the average grading given to the question:
How would you rate the cottage's fittings, furnishings and equipment?’
A property will achieve a rating of 5 Smiles down to 1 Smile, although it is our policy not to carry any properties with ratings lower than 3 Smiles. The customer chooses from the following ratings:

There is an extra charge for pets, most commonly at £18 pppw (per pet per week).
Assistance dogs are of course welcome in all our cottages free of charge, however owners of them should be aware that a considerable number of people are allergic to dogs and in some cases can have a severe reaction. Owners are therefore encouraged, where at all possible, to choose a property which normally allows pets.
Some properties accept pets other than dogs, but in all cases we are required to confirm consent from the cottage owner. Please contact the office on 01208 821 666 if you would like to take a pet other than a dog with you to one of our cottages.

- "A perfect getaway cottage, with all the facilities you will need within a steep walk! Beach, town and people are great." Mr Brooks, Hassocks
- "It was everything we hoped it would be and more. We would definitely love to come again. " Mr Lehmann, Berlin
- "We enjoyed our stay at the Seaway within this nice and comfortable old house near to the beach. The holiday cottage offers very nice garden, nice kitchen and living room. Enough room for family to feel at ease. St Agnes is great for coast walks and surfing after low tide, nice little town which offers almost everything within short distance, other nice places in the vicinity. " Mr Beckmann, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern
- "A cosy charming cottage in a lovely village. The small back garden is a suntrap on sunny days whilst the cottage's thick stone walls and woodburning stove make it a great place to curl up if the weather turns. " Mrs Peart, Bolton
