Within 500 yards of the mediaeval castle and just a 10 minute walk from the stunning South West Coast Path, this modern semi-detached house is situated in the village of Tintagel within easy level walking distance of the village shops, restaurants and inns, and the many myths and legends of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table. Set in a private residential no-through road of five recently built properties, Sandpipers has been furnished to a high standard with a light and airy décor, double glazing and thermostatically controlled electric radiators in every room offering warm and comfortable year round accommodation. A small gentle slope leads up to the front door which opens to an entrance hall with coat pegs and an adjacent shower room W.C. with hand basin. An inner glazed door leads into a bright and sunny sitting room with a laminate wood floor and comfortable furniture facing a living flame electric fire. To one side, an archway leads through to a well equipped kitchen/diner with a dining suite next to French Windows opening to the enclosed rear garden and a smartly fitted kitchen with beech effect shaker style units. From the hallway, carpeted stairs lead up to the first floor landing, a bathroom W.C. with hand basin and shower over the bath and three pleasantly light bedrooms. There is a 5ft double and a twin bedded room at the front, both with oblique glimpses of the sea, and a single bedroom overlooking the south facing rear gravelled garden with a wooden decking area which catches the morning sun. There is parking for one car outside the property, any additional cars should be parked in the nearby pay and display carpark. Storage space is available for bicycles and beachgear in the attached garage which also houses the freezer. Tintagel Old Post Office, King Arthurs Great Halls and Tintagel Castle are all within a few minutes walk, and there is an abundance of circular walks locally including the coastal footpath with breathtaking scenery and the dramatic Rocky Valley. Trebarwith Strand, 3 miles, has a sandy beach with rock pools which is popular with families and surfers alike, and the picturesque NT harbour at Boscastle is also 3 miles. There is a golf club and leisure centre with swimming pool at Camelford 6 miles away and there are riding stables nearby.

There is an extra charge for pets, most commonly at £18 pppw (per pet per week).
Assistance dogs are of course welcome in all our cottages free of charge, however owners of them should be aware that a considerable number of people are allergic to dogs and in some cases can have a severe reaction. Owners are therefore encouraged, where at all possible, to choose a property which normally allows pets.
Some properties accept pets other than dogs, but in all cases we are required to confirm consent from the cottage owner. Please contact the office on 01208 821 666 if you would like to take a pet other than a dog with you to one of our cottages.

A 5% loyalty discount is available at some properties for guests who have booked a second or further holiday within 2 years through Cornish Traditional Cottages. If you are eligible for the Loyalty Discount your final balance payment will be reduced accordingly after your booking has been submitted. The Loyalty Discount cannot be claimed with any other discount.

- A summary of your booking will appear. To proceed with the booking select the 'Continue booking' button in the summary box. Deselect the weeks to remove the summary box.
- Weeks marked as 'Reserve' (highlighted in blue) cannot be booked at this point in time because availability and prices have not yet been agreed with the owner. You can reserve these weeks in your name until availability and pricing has been agreed. It is important to note that a 'Reserved' period can only be confirmed in your name if the owner wishes to make the Reserved period available for booking.
- 'Reserved' weeks (as opposed to 'Reserve' weeks) can only be booked by a customer who has 'Reserved' the highlighted period.
Pricing information
All prices are per week per property. Many properties promote an all inclusive price although some charge for extras such as bed linen, towels, heating and/or electricity. The Property description will detail any extra charges.
