Only a 10 minute drive from the sandy beaches of the Camel Estuary and the attractive fishing harbour of Port Isaac, this cosy little wing of the owners 14thcentury farmhouse is tucked away in a tranquil setting to one side of Pollingarrow Farm near the picturesque village of St Kew.
Peacefully situated, the property is entered through a fenced and gated patio garden with a private and sheltered sitting out area, and the front door set beneath an open porch roof leads directly into a warm and inviting small living room with a low ceiling.
The room is light and attractive with a comfortable lounge settee, a dining suite set in one corner and a neatly fitted galley kitchen with restful views over the adjoining meadow and seasonal duckpond. To complete the ground floor accommodation, there is a fully tiled walk-in shower room and a utility room with laundry facilities at the rear.
From the living room, rather steep carpeted stairs lead up to a small landing, a cloakroom W.C. with hand basin and a double bedroom with a velux window set into the sloping ceiling and partially exposed beams. There is a wall mounted heater in each room and ample parking space is available on site. The village of St Kew about 3 / 4 of a mile away has a pretty church and a beautiful 15th century pub that offers good food.
St Kew Highway is a five minute drive and has a pub, garage, and mini market, and there is a 9 hole golf course and farm shop 1 mile away. For a wider selection of amenities, the market town of Wadebridge is 3 miles and the golden sandy beaches of Polzeath, famed for its surfing, Daymer Bay and Rock are all within easy driving distance.

Our rating method, the popular "smiles" system is generated entirely by the feedback we receive from our visitors. The number of smiles is arrived at by taking the average grading given to the question:
How would you rate the cottage's fittings, furnishings and equipment?’
A property will achieve a rating of 5 Smiles down to 1 Smile, although it is our policy not to carry any properties with ratings lower than 3 Smiles. The customer chooses from the following ratings:

There is an extra charge for pets, most commonly at £18 pppw (per pet per week).
Assistance dogs are of course welcome in all our cottages free of charge, however owners of them should be aware that a considerable number of people are allergic to dogs and in some cases can have a severe reaction. Owners are therefore encouraged, where at all possible, to choose a property which normally allows pets.
Some properties accept pets other than dogs, but in all cases we are required to confirm consent from the cottage owner. Please contact the office on 01208 821 666 if you would like to take a pet other than a dog with you to one of our cottages.
