Washing MachineA comfortable refurbished cottage in an attractive terrace built in 1850 for the coastguards and tucked against the cliffside in the older part of Portloe, about 300 yards from the harbour and the Lugger Hotel.
The cottage is entered by way of a spacious glass-covered porchway, with a small utility room at one end and ample storage for beach gear at the other. The front door opens to a quarry tiled hallway, on the left is a modern kitchen and ahead is a comfortable sitting/dining room with a low stone fireplace, views over the valley and a door leading out to a delightful hillside patio garden with three sitting areas linked by paths and flights of steps.
The garden is planted with mature shrubs and has panoramic views of the sea. Rope railed stairs lead to the first floor and two bedrooms, a double with sea views and en-suite bathroom W.C. with hand basin and shower over the bath and a twin bedded room with an en-suite shower room W.C. and hand basin. Cars may be parked in the village car park about 30 yards away (honesty box). All the beaches of the Roseland are within half an hours drive and there are many fine walks from the village and surrounding areas.
Please note:Bed linen & towels are available at £10 per person per week payable on arrival.
