With panoramic sea views looking out over Mounts Bay, this delightfully refurbished and double glazed detached cottage is set on the seaward side of the coast road as it passes through Marazion.
Entered from the pavement, the front door opens directly into a light and airy sitting room with some exposed stonework and comfortable seating arranged before the large fireplace housing an electric living flame stove.
An inner glazed door leads to a small hallway and a bathroom W.C. with hand basin and shower over the bath. From the hall, a low doorway and three steps lead down to a bright and sunny kitchen with fitted units, a drop leaf dining suite and fine views overlooking Mounts Bay from a picture window. A glazed door continues to a rear lobby with a few steps leading down to a little snug area and to one side a door and four steps lead down to a lovely sheltered wooden decking (no bbqs permitted).
From the inner hallway, a narrow and steep carpeted staircase winds up to a small landing and two pleasantly furnished bedrooms. There is an attractive twin bedded room on the inland side of the cottage and a beautiful, split-level master bedroom with a double bed enjoying spectacular sea views through French Windows with iron railings across, and an en-suite W.C. with hand basin. Steep stairs and changes in level make this property unsuitable for small children and those with any significant disability. There is a designated parking space for one car at a nearby hotel about 500 yards away.
There are a selection of restaurants, cafes, pubs, antique shops and art and craft galleries within a 5 minute walk and only a couple of minutes further to the golden sandy beach. St Michaels Mount, joined to the shore by a causeway passable at low tide and by ferry at other times is less than half a mile away and the RSPB marshes nearby are of particular interest to birdwatchers. Penzance, 3 miles, has a railway station, good shopping centre, and ferry and helicopter services to the Isles of Scilly. This property has a Sunday changeover with the advantage of avoiding the major traffic hold ups on Fridays and Saturdays.

Assistance dogs are of course welcome in all our cottages free of charge, however owners of them should be aware that a considerable number of people are allergic to dogs and in some cases can have a severe reaction. Owners are therefore encouraged, where at all possible, to choose a property which normally allows pets.
Some properties accept pets other than dogs, but in all cases we are required to confirm consent from the cottage owner. Please contact the office on 01208 821 666 if you would like to take a pet other than a dog with you to one of our cottages.
- Select the check box next to the week(s) you wish to book. Multiple weeks can only be booked consecutively. Non consecutive weeks must be booked separately.
- A summary of your booking will appear. To proceed with the booking select the 'Continue booking' button in the summary box. Deselect the weeks to remove the summary box.
- Weeks marked as 'Reserve' (highlighted in blue) cannot be booked at this point in time because availability and prices have not yet been agreed with the owner. You can reserve these weeks in your name until availability and pricing has been agreed. It is important to note that a 'Reserved' period can only be confirmed in your name if the owner wishes to make the Reserved period available for booking.
- 'Reserved' weeks (as opposed to 'Reserve' weeks) can only be booked by a customer who has 'Reserved' the highlighted period.
All prices are per week per property. Many properties promote an all inclusive price although some charge for extras such as bed linen, towels, heating and/or electricity. The Property description will detail any extra charges.
Booked: A customer has committed to a holiday period by paying a deposit or the full amount for a rental period.
Reserved: When a property is not yet available to be booked, a customer can 'Reserve' the property in their name on a first come first served basis. When Cornish Traditional Cottages and the owner have agreed availability and pricing for your selected period we will contact you to let you know if you can then book the property in your name. A Reservation does not guarantee a booking because the owner has first right of refusal on all availability.

- Up to 3 nights: 62% of the weekly price
- 4 nights: 71.5% of the weekly price
- 5 nights: 91% of the weekly price
- 6 nights: 100% of the weekly price
It is important to note that a 'Reserved' period can only be booked if the owner wishes to make the 'Reserved' period available for booking. Upon completion of your reservation you will receive confirmation by email or post containing details of the reservation.

- "The house is in a marvellous place in a little village with a beautiful view to the sea and St Michael's Mount. There is a high standard of equipment. We enjoyed our stay here very much. " Mrs Olhauser, Baden-Wurttemberg
