Please note: Bed linen and towels are provided and inclusive but the beds will not be made up prior to your arrival.
Just two miles north of the pretty harbourside village of St Mawes, this detached part double glazed house with beautiful views, is set in a private road which runs almost down to the creek at St Just in Roseland.
On the ground floor the front door opens into a wide hallway with a wing to the right containing a bathroom / W.C. with hand basin and two bedrooms; a twin bedded room and one with two single beds that can be joined together to make a king size. On the extended side of the house is a recently enlarged sitting / dining room with large picture windows and patio doors to the garden and a newly fitted kitchen, all with lovely water views.
Open tread stairs lead directly from the sitting / dining room up to the spacious, gallery style, open plan master bedroom which has a double bed and an en-suite shower room W.C. with hand basin. A large window makes it possible to enjoy the view without getting out of bed and a glazed door opens to a new roof terrace overlooking St Just Creek with a glass balustrade.
The garden is bounded bv a waist high stone wall and although the grass itself is level the sloping site gives a considerable drop on one side of the wall - not for adventurous toddlers. There is on-site parking for two cars. The coastal footpath nearby leads down to the picturesque church set in magnificent semi tropical gardens and St Just Pool.
The nearest beach is Rosevine, a five minute drive, with an expanse of flat sand at low tide. St Mawes has two beaches on either side of the harbour, a small selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, a passenger ferry operating to Falmouth, and the 16th century St Mawes Castle.

Our rating method, the popular "smiles" system is generated entirely by the feedback we receive from our visitors. The number of smiles is arrived at by taking the average grading given to the question:
How would you rate the cottage's fittings, furnishings and equipment?’
A property will achieve a rating of 5 Smiles down to 1 Smile, although it is our policy not to carry any properties with ratings lower than 3 Smiles. The customer chooses from the following ratings:

There is an extra charge for pets, most commonly at £18 pppw (per pet per week).
Assistance dogs are of course welcome in all our cottages free of charge, however owners of them should be aware that a considerable number of people are allergic to dogs and in some cases can have a severe reaction. Owners are therefore encouraged, where at all possible, to choose a property which normally allows pets.
Some properties accept pets other than dogs, but in all cases we are required to confirm consent from the cottage owner. Please contact the office on 01208 821 666 if you would like to take a pet other than a dog with you to one of our cottages.
