With superb sea views, best from upstairs, this is a traditional detached farm cottage across the yard from the main farmhouse. Entered from a gated stone-walled gravelled patio area which surrounds the cottage, an open porch leads to the front door and from there into a long, comfortably furnished sitting room.
The deeply set windows frame the view across the yard and fields to the sea. The beamed farm-style kitchen / diner and a spacious utility entrance with cloaks facilities and sink, are at the other end. A step up from the sitting room leads to a bunk room and a W.C. with basin.
Upstairs are two further bedrooms, a double and one with two pine singles, both with superb views. A bathroom / W.C. with shower cubicle, bath and hand basin completes the accommodation.
At the rear of the cottage there is a fenced lawned garden.
Please note: Towels are not available. One bag of coal for the open fire is included in the rent.

Our rating method, the popular "smiles" system is generated entirely by the feedback we receive from our visitors. The number of smiles is arrived at by taking the average grading given to the question:
How would you rate the cottage's fittings, furnishings and equipment?’
A property will achieve a rating of 5 Smiles down to 1 Smile, although it is our policy not to carry any properties with ratings lower than 3 Smiles. The customer chooses from the following ratings:

There is an extra charge for pets, most commonly at £18 pppw (per pet per week).
Assistance dogs are of course welcome in all our cottages free of charge, however owners of them should be aware that a considerable number of people are allergic to dogs and in some cases can have a severe reaction. Owners are therefore encouraged, where at all possible, to choose a property which normally allows pets.
Some properties accept pets other than dogs, but in all cases we are required to confirm consent from the cottage owner. Please contact the office on 01208 821 666 if you would like to take a pet other than a dog with you to one of our cottages.
