A comfortable Edwardian end of terrace house in Treknow with views across the fields towards the coast and only 3/4 of a mile from the beach at Trebarwith Strand.
Set in an elevated position, a flight of gated steps leads up from the narrow lane to a small terrace and the front door which opens to a hallway with a mosaic tiled floor. To one side is a light and airy sitting room with a stripped wood floor, a period fireplace and lovely views from a large bay window down the valley to Trebarwith.
At the rear of the house is a spacious pine fitted kitchen with a slate floor and a long dining table next to a decorative old range. A couple of steps lead up to a useful utility room with a 2nd sink and a W.C. and a children's playroom with table football and casual seating. A back door opens out to a service area where a series of steps lead up to a landscaped hillside garden where children will require supervision.
Carpeted stairs lead up from the entrance hall to the first floor where there are a bathroom with hand basin and shower over the bath, a cloakroom W.C. with tiny basin and three bedrooms all with rugs on the natural wood floor. A twin bedroom looks across at the rear garden and two double bedrooms have views of the countryside with a glimpse of the sea in the distance.
Stairs continue up to the second floor where a large bedroom has two single beds, wide open views from two skylight windows, and an en-suite shower room W.C. with hand basin. There is parking available at the rear for two large cars and one car at the front of the house.
Trebarwith Strand is a 20 minute walk by footpath and the pleasant Mill House Inn is 1/4 of a mile down a fairly steep hill. Tintagel, 1 mile, has several shops, pubs and restaurants in addition to the mediaeval castle and there are spectacular coastal walks in the immediate area.
Please note: Towels not available.

When a property shows 'sleeps' in the format X-Y, X equals the maximum number of adults that can comfortably be accommodated and Y indicates the maximum number of adults + children that can be comfortably accommodated in the property.
Our rating method, the popular "smiles" system is generated entirely by the feedback we receive from our visitors. The number of smiles is arrived at by taking the average grading given to the question:
How would you rate the cottage's fittings, furnishings and equipment?’
A property will achieve a rating of 5 Smiles down to 1 Smile, although it is our policy not to carry any properties with ratings lower than 3 Smiles. The customer chooses from the following ratings:

There is an extra charge for pets, most commonly at £20 pppw (per pet per week).
Assistance dogs are of course welcome in all our cottages free of charge, however owners of them should be aware that a considerable number of people are allergic to dogs and in some cases can have a severe reaction. Owners are therefore encouraged, where at all possible, to choose a property which normally allows pets.
Some properties accept pets other than dogs, but in all cases we are required to confirm consent from the cottage owner. Please contact the office on 01208 821 666 if you would like to take a pet other than a dog with you to one of our cottages.
