With views of the sea in the distance, this very traditional, double glazed terraced cottage is set in the coastal hamlet of Carnyorth, less than 2 miles from Cape Cornwall and the village of St Just. Ideally situated as a base from which to explore the rugged coastline, south to the lovely sands of Sennen Cove and north to St Ives.
Set back from the road, the cottage faces a green where there is unrestricted parking by the side and a gated path leads to the small walled front garden with an area for sitting. Entered through a porch where there is space for coats and boots, an inner door leads directly into a sitting room of great character with a board and beam ceiling and a deep granite hearth.
To one side there is a pleasant dining room with a window seat looking out over the garden and green and also having oblique sea views. Old granite steps lead up from the sitting room to the narrow kitchen at the rear of the cottage, with a sloping ceiling and newly fitted modern units. A fully tiled shower room W.C. with hand basin opens from the rear hallway, which can be reached from both the kitchen and the dining room.
Carpeted stairs lead up to the first floor and two cottage style bedrooms, a double bedroom with a step down beneath the low doorway entrance, enjoying views of the sea on the horizon, and to complete the accommodation there is a twin bedded room with partial sea views.
There is a low walled back garden with a gravel terrace shaded by an apple tree. The coastal path and good rock fishing are about half a mile with riding and a golf course at St Just, 1.5 miles. A local bus route serves Carnyorth, on the St Just to St Ives road. Sennen Cove is about 7 miles, St Ives 12 miles. The nearest shops and pubs are all under a mile.
Please note: Bed linen is available at £3 per person, per week payable on arrival. Towels are not available.

Assistance dogs are of course welcome in all our cottages free of charge, however owners of them should be aware that a considerable number of people are allergic to dogs and in some cases can have a severe reaction. Owners are therefore encouraged, where at all possible, to choose a property which normally allows pets.
Some properties accept pets other than dogs, but in all cases we are required to confirm consent from the cottage owner. Please contact the office on 01208 821 666 if you would like to take a pet other than a dog with you to one of our cottages.
- Select the check box next to the week(s) you wish to book. Multiple weeks can only be booked consecutively. Non consecutive weeks must be booked separately.
- A summary of your booking will appear. To proceed with the booking select the 'Continue booking' button in the summary box. Deselect the weeks to remove the summary box.
- Weeks marked as 'Reserve' (highlighted in blue) cannot be booked at this point in time because availability and prices have not yet been agreed with the owner. You can reserve these weeks in your name until availability and pricing has been agreed. It is important to note that a 'Reserved' period can only be confirmed in your name if the owner wishes to make the Reserved period available for booking.
- 'Reserved' weeks (as opposed to 'Reserve' weeks) can only be booked by a customer who has 'Reserved' the highlighted period.
All prices are per week per property. Many properties promote an all inclusive price although some charge for extras such as bed linen, towels, heating and/or electricity. The Property description will detail any extra charges.
Booked: A customer has committed to a holiday period by paying a deposit or the full amount for a rental period.
Reserved: When a property is not yet available to be booked, a customer can 'Reserve' the property in their name on a first come first served basis. When Cornish Traditional Cottages and the owner have agreed availability and pricing for your selected period we will contact you to let you know if you can then book the property in your name. A Reservation does not guarantee a booking because the owner has first right of refusal on all availability.

- 4 nights: 71.5% of the weekly price
- 5 nights: 91% of the weekly price
