From the harbour, a short walk along the South West coastal footpath leads to several beautiful sandy beaches and coves, or alternatively by car, Trevone is 2 miles and Harlyn Bay 3 miles. There is the facility to hire bicycles in Padstow to explore the Camel Trail recreational route and an assortment of boat trips depart from the quayside including a foot ferry operating across the estuary to Rock.
