Property Details

MOONDANCE is a half-bred Appaloosa horse directly descended from the stallion ridden by the real life Butch Cassidy during his bank robbing days with the Sundance Kid.

The original farmhouse dating back to the late 19th century, it is approached by a path leading up to a small sheltered terrace for guests own use, and the front door which opens to a slate floored entrance lobby and a cloakroom W.C. with hand basin. To one side, a door opens to a part fitted kitchen with a Belfast sink and a wide archway leads through to the adjoining living room with an oak floor, a rustic dining suite and lounge seating arranged before the granite fireplace housing a wood burning stove.

French Windows and one step leads down to a sun room at the front of the house with conservatory type furniture, extensive views of the countryside and an external glazed door. From the kitchen, stairs lead up to the first floor landing, a large bathroom W.C. with hand basin and two bedrooms; one at the front with zip linked 3ft beds and a twin bedded room at the rear. An open tread wooden staircase continues up to the top floor and a master bedroom with a double bed tucked under the eaves, some exposed low beams and a low doorway to an en-suite wet room W.C. with hand basin and walk in shower.

VISITOR COMMENT - We thoroughly enjoyed the house and the peaceful atmosphere, would certainly like to come back.  Now our kids want to live on a farm!  The H family - Australia.
