A spacious and comfortable detached family house with wonderful sea views in extensive gardens overlooking Port Gaverne and the bay. Set at the top end of Port Isaac it is approached by a gated driveway through a mature sheltered garden on the landward side where there is parking for three cars.
Two or three steps lead down to the front door and the hallway. The accommodation is split with open tread pine stairs leading up to the first floor (stairgate fixed) where there is a very spacious sitting room with a 42" HD Freeview TV and magnificent sea views from wide windows that look directly across Port Isaac Bay. At one end is a dressing room which leads through to a double bedroom with a hand basin and lovely views from full length patio windows to a balcony that overlooks the sea.
On the ground floor are three further bedrooms, one double bedded room with en suite shower and W.C. (with optional access by day from the utility room), one with twin beds and one with full size bunk beds and a single bed. A bathroom W.C. with hand basin and power shower over the bath, a kitchen / dining room and the service areas complete the accommodation.
The kitchen / dining room has two windows that look seawards and there is a very useful adjacent utility room with storage space for beach gear. A door opens to the garden on the seaward side bounded by a Cornish bank and hedge and is ideal for small children - please keep dog free. There is a barbeque area which looks down over the bathing beach at Port Gaverne (no access from the property).
General stores, cafes, (including Take Away), and restaurants are within easy walking distance and the village play area for children is close by. The historic harbour and old village is a short walk down the hill.
Please note: Towels are not available.

How would you rate the cottage's fittings, furnishings and equipment?’
A property will achieve a rating of 5 Smiles down to 1 Smile, although it is our policy not to carry any properties with ratings lower than 3 Smiles. The customer chooses from the following ratings:
- Excellent
- Good
- Satisfactory
- Below standard
- Poor
Assistance dogs are of course welcome in all our cottages free of charge, however owners of them should be aware that a considerable number of people are allergic to dogs and in some cases can have a severe reaction. Owners are therefore encouraged, where at all possible, to choose a property which normally allows pets.
Some properties accept pets other than dogs, but in all cases we are required to confirm consent from the cottage owner. Please contact the office on 01208 821 666 if you would like to take a pet other than a dog with you to one of our cottages.
- Select the check box next to the week(s) you wish to book. Multiple weeks can only be booked consecutively. Non consecutive weeks must be booked separately.
- A summary of your booking will appear. To proceed with the booking select the 'Continue booking' button in the summary box. Deselect the weeks to remove the summary box.
- Weeks marked as 'Reserve' (highlighted in blue) cannot be booked at this point in time because availability and prices have not yet been agreed with the owner. You can reserve these weeks in your name until availability and pricing has been agreed. It is important to note that a 'Reserved' period can only be confirmed in your name if the owner wishes to make the Reserved period available for booking.
- 'Reserved' weeks (as opposed to 'Reserve' weeks) can only be booked by a customer who has 'Reserved' the highlighted period.
All prices are per week per property. Many properties promote an all inclusive price although some charge for extras such as bed linen, towels, heating and/or electricity. The Property description will detail any extra charges.
Booked: A customer has committed to a holiday period by paying a deposit or the full amount for a rental period.
Reserved: When a property is not yet available to be booked, a customer can 'Reserve' the property in their name on a first come first served basis. When Cornish Traditional Cottages and the owner have agreed availability and pricing for your selected period we will contact you to let you know if you can then book the property in your name. A Reservation does not guarantee a booking because the owner has first right of refusal on all availability.
Prices for short breaks are as follows:
- Up to 3 nights: 62% of the weekly price
- 4 nights: 71.5% of the weekly price
- 5 nights: 91% of the weekly price
- 6 nights: 100% of the weekly price
It is important to note that a 'Reserved' period can only be booked if the owner wishes to make the 'Reserved' period available for booking. Upon completion of your reservation you will receive confirmation by email or post containing details of the reservation.
