MicrowaveA double fronted early Victorian farmhouse set to one side of the owners farm about half a mile from the historic town of Bodmin and within a 20 minute drive of both the North and South Coasts.
Quietly situated at the end of a narrow winding lane, a gated path leads up to the front porch and an inner door opens to the hallway. On the ground floor are a warm and comfortably furnished sitting room with views across the fields towards Bodmin Beacon and a well equipped family kitchen/dining room with fitted units.
Stairs from the hallway lead to a half landing with a cloakroom W.C. and on the top floor are two bedrooms, a bathroom W.C. with hand basin and shower over the bath and a separate shower room with wash basin. A pine furnished double bedroom has views of the surrounding countryside and an access door to the bathroom and a modest sized bunk bedded room has rural views overlooking the farm.
There is a walled and gated grassy garden to the front and side of the farmhouse which is securely enclosed but children will require supervision around the farm and an adjacent parking bay has room for one car. Undercover shelter for bicycles can be provided and DIY livery for horses is also available on the working farm by arrangement with the owner.
Bodmin, 1 mile, has a good selection of amenities including the fascinating old gaol and the steam railway line and there are lovely walks nearby along the Camel Trail. The Eden Project, Lanhydrock and Pencarrow House and gardens are all within easy reach and the nearest beach is approximately 10 miles.
Please note: Bed linen is available at £3 per person per week and towels are available at £2 per person per week to be paid on arrival.
