Herniss | Nr Falmouth | Sleeps 6 in 3 cottages
Just over five miles from Falmouth with its long maritime history, sandy beaches and bustling harbour, this detached stone and slate barn has been newly converted into three attractive one bedroom cottages called Huey, Dewey and Louie. Set in a row to one side of the owners farmhouse, they offer warm and comfortable all year holiday accommodation in the small village of Herniss, with easy access to the Helford River and the Roseland and Lizard Peninsulas. Stithians Lake, 3.5 miles away, has watersports facilities, bird watching, fly fishing and an award winning pub with lakeside restaurant, and the glorious gardens of Trebah, Glendurgan and Penjerrick are within a 15 minute drive. The village of Rame, half a mile, has a post office store and pub, and there are supermarkets at both Falmouth and Helston, a 10 minute drive respectively. All three cottages have their own individual character but there are many similar features with light oak beams, inverted accommodation and rural views over the owners paddock from double glazed windows. There is ample parking space for one car per property. From the car park, three steps lead down to the property with each cottage having a sheltered paved patio which catches the morning sun and an adjoining small shared lawn.
SHARED FEATURES:- Laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer.

Assistance dogs are of course welcome in all our cottages free of charge, however owners of them should be aware that a considerable number of people are allergic to dogs and in some cases can have a severe reaction. Owners are therefore encouraged, where at all possible, to choose a property which normally allows pets.
Some properties accept pets other than dogs, but in all cases we are required to confirm consent from the cottage owner. Please contact the office on 01208 821 666 if you would like to take a pet other than a dog with you to one of our cottages.
- Select the check box next to the week(s) you wish to book. Multiple weeks can only be booked consecutively. Non consecutive weeks must be booked separately.
- A summary of your booking will appear. To proceed with the booking select the 'Continue booking' button in the summary box. Deselect the weeks to remove the summary box.
- Weeks marked as 'Reserve' (highlighted in blue) cannot be booked at this point in time because availability and prices have not yet been agreed with the owner. You can reserve these weeks in your name until availability and pricing has been agreed. All prices are per week per property. Many properties promote an all inclusive price although some charge for extras such as bed linen, towels, heating and/or electricity. The Property description will detail any extra charges.
Booked: A customer has committed to a holiday period by paying a deposit or the full amount for a rental period.
Reserved: When a property is not yet available to be booked, a customer can 'Reserve' the property in their name on a first come first served basis. When Cornish Traditional Cottages and the owner have agreed availability and pricing for your selected period we will contact you to let you know if you can then book the property in your name. A Reservation does not guarantee a booking because the owner has first right of refusal on all availability.

- 4 nights: 71.5% of the weekly price
- 5 nights: 91% of the weekly price
- 6 nights: 100% of the weekly price
It is important to note that a 'Reserved' period can only be booked if the owner wishes to make the 'Reserved' period available for booking. Upon completion of your reservation you will receive confirmation by email or post containing details of the reservation.
