Set amid lovely farmland just half a mile from the award winning Lost Gardens of Heligan and within a short drive of the picturesque harbour town of Mevagissey.
This recently refurbished charming property is one of two adjoining cottages set to one side of a quiet lane and is entered via a short path up to the front door. This opens to a small hallway with an adjacent bathroom W.C. with hand basin and shower over the bath, and a spacious well equipped fitted kitchen with a breakfast bar and a quarry tiled floor.
A door leads through to a pleasant living room which has a beamed ceiling, comfortable seating and a dining area with views over neighbouring fields. Stairs in one corner lead up to a landing and three good sized rooms. A light and airy twin bedded room, a bright double, and a single bedroom, all overlooking delightful countryside.
There is off road parking for two cars next to a gated grassy paddock which visitors are encouraged to make use of in addition to enjoying the owners peaceful garden.
The village of St Ewe 1 mile has a local pub which offers good food, and there is an excellent farm shop at Heligan half a mile away. Mevagissey, about 3 miles, has a selection of local shops and restaurants, fishing trips departing from the quayside and a summer passenger ferry to Fowey. There is a watersports shop and bicycle hire available at Pentewan, and both the Eden Project and the Shipwreck Centre at Charlestown are within a 20 minute drive.
The attractive sandy beach at Gorran Haven is 5 miles and there are also lovely unspoilt beaches including Carne, Portholland and Caerhays on the Roseland Peninsula within easy reach.

Pets
Assistance dogs are of course welcome in all our cottages free of charge, however owners of them should be aware that a considerable number of people are allergic to dogs and in some cases can have a severe reaction. Owners are therefore encouraged, where at all possible, to choose a property which normally allows pets.
Some properties accept pets other than dogs, but in all cases we are required to confirm consent from the cottage owner. Please contact the office on 01208 821 666 if you would like to take a pet other than a dog with you to one of our cottages.

How to book
- Select the check box next to the week(s) you wish to book. Multiple weeks can only be booked consecutively. Non consecutive weeks must be booked separately.
- A summary of your booking will appear. To proceed with the booking select the 'Continue booking' button in the summary box. Deselect the weeks to remove the summary box.
- Weeks marked as 'Reserve' (highlighted in blue) cannot be booked at this point in time because availability and prices have not yet been agreed with the owner. You can reserve these weeks in your name until availability and pricing has been agreed. It is important to note that a 'Reserved' period can only be confirmed in your name if the owner wishes to make the Reserved period available for booking.
- 'Reserved' weeks (as opposed to 'Reserve' weeks) can only be booked by a customer who has 'Reserved' the highlighted period.
Pricing information
All prices are per week per property. Many properties promote an all inclusive price although some charge for extras such as bed linen, towels, heating and/or electricity. The Property description will detail any extra charges.
Definitions
Booked: A customer has committed to a holiday period by paying a deposit or the full amount for a rental period.
Reserved: When a property is not yet available to be booked, a customer can 'Reserve' the property in their name on a first come first served basis. When Cornish Traditional Cottages and the owner have agreed availability and pricing for your selected period we will contact you to let you know if you can then book the property in your name. A Reservation does not guarantee a booking because the owner has first right of refusal on all availability.
Short breaks
Prices for short breaks are as follows:
- Up to 3 nights: 62% of the weekly price
- 4 nights: 71.5% of the weekly price
- 5 nights: 91% of the weekly price
- 6 nights: 100% of the weekly price
Reservations
It is important to note that a 'Reserved' period can only be booked if the owner wishes to make the 'Reserved' period available for booking. Upon completion of your reservation you will receive confirmation by email or post containing details of the reservation.
