Situated on the edge of the picturesque and historic fishing village of Coverack, along the east coast of the Lizard, this coastal double glazed apartment is set on the scenic Headland known as Chynhalls Point. Set in the beautiful landscaped gardens of what was formerly the Regal Headland Hotel, this stunning location benefits from its own small private beach set in a horseshoe bay accessed down a secluded footpath.
The apartment is furnished in a practical, contemporary style, with natural slate tiled floors and sea grass matting downstairs and stripped wooden floors with rugs upstairs. A stable door opens directly into a light and airy kitchen with dining table and chairs and beyond there is a comfortable living room with French doors leading to a small yet sheltered patio area which benefits from the afternoon sun and is a perfect spot for a morning coffee or a sun-downer.
Upstairs there is a large shower room W.C. with hand basin and three nicely furnished bedrooms; a double bedroom and a children's bunk bedded room at the rear with views of the communal grounds, and a further double on the seaward side with lovely views of the coastline and out to sea. There are wall mounted electric heaters in all bedrooms.
The extensive well maintained gardens have superb sea views, ponds and streams, and all weather tennis courts, however, dogs must be on a lead and young children will require supervision. There are two reserved parking spaces close to the accommodation and the main building has a laundry room and payphone.
Coverack, half a mile by road or a 10 minute walk down the hill by scenic footpath, has local shops, a gallery, pub, restaurants and a dog friendly tidal beach. There is also a windsurfing school and fishing trips departing from the attractive harbour. There are a host of attractions to suit all ages within easy reach, including the Seal Sanctuary, Roskillys Ice Cream Farm, Trelowarren Estate and gardens and Flambards Theme Park. The accommodation is a comfortable base that is ideal all year round, whether it is to walk and explore the stunning coastal footpaths which stretch from the doorstep in either direction or to discover the hidden coves and quaint fishing villages of the Lizard Peninsula. The market town of Helston with shops and supermarkets is a 15 minute drive.

How would you rate the cottage's fittings, furnishings and equipment?’

Assistance dogs are of course welcome in all our cottages free of charge, however owners of them should be aware that a considerable number of people are allergic to dogs and in some cases can have a severe reaction. Owners are therefore encouraged, where at all possible, to choose a property which normally allows pets.
Some properties accept pets other than dogs, but in all cases we are required to confirm consent from the cottage owner. Please contact the office on 01208 821 666 if you would like to take a pet other than a dog with you to one of our cottages.
- Select the check box next to the week(s) you wish to book. Multiple weeks can only be booked consecutively. Non consecutive weeks must be booked separately.
- A summary of your booking will appear. To proceed with the booking select the 'Continue booking' button in the summary box. Deselect the weeks to remove the summary box.
- Weeks marked as 'Reserve' (highlighted in blue) cannot be booked at this point in time because availability and prices have not yet been agreed with the owner. You can reserve these weeks in your name until availability and pricing has been agreed. It is important to note that a 'Reserved' period can only be confirmed in your name if the owner wishes to make the Reserved period available for booking.
- 'Reserved' weeks (as opposed to 'Reserve' weeks) can only be booked by a customer who has 'Reserved' the highlighted period.
All prices are per week per property. Many properties promote an all inclusive price although some charge for extras such as bed linen, towels, heating and/or electricity. The Property description will detail any extra charges.
Booked: A customer has committed to a holiday period by paying a deposit or the full amount for a rental period.
Reserved: When a property is not yet available to be booked, a customer can 'Reserve' the property in their name on a first come first served basis. When Cornish Traditional Cottages and the owner have agreed availability and pricing for your selected period we will contact you to let you know if you can then book the property in your name. A Reservation does not guarantee a booking because the owner has first right of refusal on all availability.
Prices for short breaks are as follows:
- Up to 3 nights: 62% of the weekly price
- 4 nights: 71.5% of the weekly price
- 5 nights: 91% of the weekly price
- 6 nights: 100% of the weekly price
It is important to note that a 'Reserved' period can only be booked if the owner wishes to make the 'Reserved' period available for booking. Upon completion of your reservation you will receive confirmation by email or post containing details of the reservation.
