With uninterrupted sea views overlooking Fistral Bay towards the headland, with its Huers hut from which it takes its name, and far out to sea, this light and stylish double glazed apartment on the first floor of a small development of individually owned properties is set in the quieter area of Pentire, just over a mile to the west of Newquay. Situated in the same location as Headland View, the apartments are only a 10 minute walk down the hill to the golden sands at Fistral beach noted for its excellent surfing conditions.
Approached from the parking area where there is an allocated space for one car, a flight of shallow railed steps lead up through the open lawned gardens to the central courtyard and a security entrance door opens to a shared lobby. An inner railed stairway leads to the private front door on the first floor which opens to a carpeted hallway.
Leading off the hall is an attractive open-plan living room with a well equipped, smart galley kitchen with modern fitted units, a drop leaf dining suite with folding chairs and comfortable seating enjoying breathtaking views across the sand and surf towards the headland from French Windows that open inwards with iron railings.
On the opposite side of the hall are two pleasant bedrooms; a master bedroom with a kingsize bed, inward opening French Windows with iron railings benefiting from stunning views across Fistral beach and far out to sea and an en-suite shower room W.C. with hand basin. The second bedroom is smaller with two 3ft single beds and partial views of the beach, more suitable for children due to the size of the room. To complete the accommodation there is a bathroom W.C. with wash basin and hand shower attachment to the bath.
There is a grocery store/P.O. and a pub with restaurant both half a mile away and a pitch and putt golf course is close by. Pentire Point East is about a 10 minute walk where a seasonal foot ferry crosses the Gannel estuary to Crantock beach, tide permitting, and all of the activities that Newquay has to offer, including a harbour, waterworld leisure park, sealife centre and zoo are within easy reach.
Please note: Towels are available at £5 per person per week to be paid on arrival. Carrycot not accepted.

Assistance dogs are of course welcome in all our cottages free of charge, however owners of them should be aware that a considerable number of people are allergic to dogs and in some cases can have a severe reaction. Owners are therefore encouraged, where at all possible, to choose a property which normally allows pets.
Some properties accept pets other than dogs, but in all cases we are required to confirm consent from the cottage owner. Please contact the office on 01208 821 666 if you would like to take a pet other than a dog with you to one of our cottages.
- Select the check box next to the week(s) you wish to book. Multiple weeks can only be booked consecutively. Non consecutive weeks must be booked separately.
- A summary of your booking will appear. To proceed with the booking select the 'Continue booking' button in the summary box. Deselect the weeks to remove the summary box.
- Weeks marked as 'Reserve' (highlighted in blue) cannot be booked at this point in time because availability and prices have not yet been agreed with the owner. You can reserve these weeks in your name until availability and pricing has been agreed. It is important to note that a 'Reserved' period can only be confirmed in your name if the owner wishes to make the Reserved period available for booking.
- 'Reserved' weeks (as opposed to 'Reserve' weeks) can only be booked by a customer who has 'Reserved' the highlighted period.
All prices are per week per property. Many properties promote an all inclusive price although some charge for extras such as bed linen, towels, heating and/or electricity. The Property description will detail any extra charges.
Booked: A customer has committed to a holiday period by paying a deposit or the full amount for a rental period.
Reserved: When a property is not yet available to be booked, a customer can 'Reserve' the property in their name on a first come first served basis. When Cornish Traditional Cottages and the owner have agreed availability and pricing for your selected period we will contact you to let you know if you can then book the property in your name. A Reservation does not guarantee a booking because the owner has first right of refusal on all availability.
Prices for short breaks are as follows:
- Up to 3 nights: 62% of the weekly price
- 4 nights: 71.5% of the weekly price
- 5 nights: 91% of the weekly price
- 6 nights: 100% of the weekly price
It is important to note that a 'Reserved' period can only be booked if the owner wishes to make the 'Reserved' period available for booking. Upon completion of your reservation you will receive confirmation by email or post containing details of the reservation.
