Within 5 miles of the sandy beaches at Portreath, Godrevy and Gwithian on the spectacular North Cornish Coast, this superbly presented detached former milking parlour is nestling on the outskirts of the small village of Kehelland in the heart of Cornwall. Despite its rural location, Hideaway is conveniently situated for visiting the wonderful beaches and attractions that the whole county has to offer and is furnished to a high level of quality with double glazing, central heating and laminate flooring throughout.
Offering single storey accommodation which is entirely on the level and suitable for the elderly or infirm, the property is approached via the gravel driveway shared with the owner, and a gently sloping path up to the entrance. The front door opens to a useful entrance hall with laundry facilities and an inner door leads directly into the well equipped kitchen/diner with smartly fitted units and a dining suite.
The light and airy, dual aspect sitting room has two comfortable settees arranged before the cosy wood burning stove for early or late season holidays and sliding patio doors opening to the enclosed garden. A couple of shallow steps lead down to the rear lawned garden with a sheltered paved patio that catches the sun for most of the day and continues into the evening.
In one corner of the kitchen, a short hallway gives access to two cheerful bedrooms with built-in wardrobes and double and twin beds respectively, each having a fully tiled en-suite shower room W.C. with hand basin and double shower.
The nearest village store and public house is at Treswithian, 1 mile, and for a wider selection of local shops and a supermarket, Camborne is 1.5 miles away. There is a choice of four North Coast beaches within a 15 minute drive and yet the South Coast can also be reached in less than 20 minutes where you will find Mounts Bay and the stunning St Michaels Mount.
The picturesque resort of St Ives with the Tate Gallery is just 10 miles and there are also a plenitude of golf courses, houses and gardens to visit. The Mineral Tramway coast-to-coast cycle trail and the South West Coastal Footpath with wonderful scenery are both within easy reach, as is Tehidy Country Park.

Assistance dogs are of course welcome in all our cottages free of charge, however owners of them should be aware that a considerable number of people are allergic to dogs and in some cases can have a severe reaction. Owners are therefore encouraged, where at all possible, to choose a property which normally allows pets.
Some properties accept pets other than dogs, but in all cases we are required to confirm consent from the cottage owner. Please contact the office on 01208 821 666 if you would like to take a pet other than a dog with you to one of our cottages.
- Select the check box next to the week(s) you wish to book. Multiple weeks can only be booked consecutively. Non consecutive weeks must be booked separately.
- A summary of your booking will appear. To proceed with the booking select the 'Continue booking' button in the summary box. Deselect the weeks to remove the summary box.
- Weeks marked as 'Reserve' (highlighted in blue) cannot be booked at this point in time because availability and prices have not yet been agreed with the owner. You can reserve these weeks in your name until availability and pricing has been agreed. It is important to note that a 'Reserved' period can only be confirmed in your name if the owner wishes to make the Reserved period available for booking.
- 'Reserved' weeks (as opposed to 'Reserve' weeks) can only be booked by a customer who has 'Reserved' the highlighted period.
All prices are per week per property. Many properties promote an all inclusive price although some charge for extras such as bed linen, towels, heating and/or electricity. The Property description will detail any extra charges.
Booked: A customer has committed to a holiday period by paying a deposit or the full amount for a rental period.
Reserved: When a property is not yet available to be booked, a customer can 'Reserve' the property in their name on a first come first served basis. When Cornish Traditional Cottages and the owner have agreed availability and pricing for your selected period we will contact you to let you know if you can then book the property in your name. A Reservation does not guarantee a booking because the owner has first right of refusal on all availability.

- 4 nights: 71.5% of the weekly price
- 5 nights: 91% of the weekly price
