Approached by an external flight of walled steps, which lead down from the private roof-top parking area and a shared outer lobby, the light and airy self contained accommodation is fronted by a delightful wooden deck which is rewarded with spectacular sunsets.
A couple of steps lead up to the glazed front door opening to a smartly fitted galley kitchen with stripped pine flooring and panoramic sea views from a picture window. There is a small built-in breakfast bar with high stools, a useful hanging cupboard, and a comfortable sitting area in a sunny décor with a corner settee and a large mirror to reflect the glorious views.
To one side, a door leads off to a bright double bedroom with hand basin, an en-suite shower room W.C. and a glazed door opening to the sheltered sundeck. The patio door makes it possible to enjoy the view without getting out of bed and there is also a unique cliff top bench seat where you can watch the local fisherman pulling in their lobster pots below.
A path leads down through the owners landscaped garden and orchard to a series of private railed steps (62 in all) down to the large south facing beach and foreshore.
Seaton has a local shop, seasonal beach café and pub, and Downderry with a coffee shop, village store, restaurant and pub are both 500 yards respectively and a 5 minute walk either by road or beach. The picturesque harbour town of Looe is 7 miles away with pleasure boat and fishing trips departing from the quayside and a railway station. The South West Coast Path and the Seaton Valley Countryside Park offer lovely walks, there are several golf courses nearby, and diving is available locally.
Please note: Towels are available at £3 per person per week to be paid on arrival.

How would you rate the cottage's fittings, furnishings and equipment?’
A property will achieve a rating of 5 Smiles down to 1 Smile, although it is our policy not to carry any properties with ratings lower than 3 Smiles. The customer chooses from the following ratings:
- Excellent
- Good
- Satisfactory
- Below standard
- Poor
Assistance dogs are of course welcome in all our cottages free of charge, however owners of them should be aware that a considerable number of people are allergic to dogs and in some cases can have a severe reaction. Owners are therefore encouraged, where at all possible, to choose a property which normally allows pets.
Some properties accept pets other than dogs, but in all cases we are required to confirm consent from the cottage owner. Please contact the office on 01208 821 666 if you would like to take a pet other than a dog with you to one of our cottages.
- Select the check box next to the week(s) you wish to book. Multiple weeks can only be booked consecutively. Non consecutive weeks must be booked separately.
- A summary of your booking will appear. To proceed with the booking select the 'Continue booking' button in the summary box. Deselect the weeks to remove the summary box.
- Weeks marked as 'Reserve' (highlighted in blue) cannot be booked at this point in time because availability and prices have not yet been agreed with the owner. You can reserve these weeks in your name until availability and pricing has been agreed. It is important to note that a 'Reserved' period can only be confirmed in your name if the owner wishes to make the Reserved period available for booking.
- 'Reserved' weeks (as opposed to 'Reserve' weeks) can only be booked by a customer who has 'Reserved' the highlighted period.
All prices are per week per property. Many properties promote an all inclusive price although some charge for extras such as bed linen, towels, heating and/or electricity. The Property description will detail any extra charges.
Booked: A customer has committed to a holiday period by paying a deposit or the full amount for a rental period.
Reserved: When a property is not yet available to be booked, a customer can 'Reserve' the property in their name on a first come first served basis. When Cornish Traditional Cottages and the owner have agreed availability and pricing for your selected period we will contact you to let you know if you can then book the property in your name. A Reservation does not guarantee a booking because the owner has first right of refusal on all availability.
Prices for short breaks are as follows:
- Up to 3 nights: 62% of the weekly price
- 4 nights: 71.5% of the weekly price
- 5 nights: 91% of the weekly price
- 6 nights: 100% of the weekly price
It is important to note that a 'Reserved' period can only be booked if the owner wishes to make the 'Reserved' period available for booking. Upon completion of your reservation you will receive confirmation by email or post containing details of the reservation.
