With delightful views across the surrounding countryside towards the sea within a few minutes drive of the sandy surfing beach at Trebarwith Strand this semi-detached double glazed bungalow, with a recently upgraded bathroom and new en-suite, is approached by a gated path which leads directly down from the road above.
Half a dozen shallow steps continue down to the front door opening to a narrow entrance hall. To one side of the hallway, there is a pleasant dining room with a beamed ceiling and a wide archway leading through to a comfortable, sunny beamed sitting room which enjoys lovely views of the sea and Gull Rock in the distance from a large picture window and also has a sofa bed for alternative sleeping arrangements.
In one corner of the dining room, a door leads through to a small inner lobby with a bathroom W.C. with hand basin and shower over the bath and two light and airy bedrooms, a twin bedded room and a double bedroom on the seaward side with fine views looking across the garden to the dramatic coastline beyond and an en-suite shower room W.C. with hand basin.
To complete the accommodation and also off the entrance hallway is a well equipped, newly fitted kitchen/breakfast room with sea views on the horizon and a glazed back door leading down to the rear garden.
At the rear, a gravel patio area has wooden garden furniture to take full advantage of its position, and several flights of steps lead down through the pleasantly open hillside garden with terraces and a sloping grassy lawn with stepping stones leading down to shrubs at the bottom - toddlers will require supervision. A cellar beneath the bungalow also provides a useful laundry area. It is possible to unload outside and cars may be parked on the road nearby.
There is a pub next to the beach at Trebarwith just over a mile away or a 20 minute walk down the hill, and there is a good selection of shops and restaurants in Tintagel, 2 miles, the legendary birthplace of King Arthur. There is also a plenitude of rugged cliff walks and footpaths in the vicinity.
Please note: Bed linen available at £5 per person per week and towels available at £3 per person per week paid on arrival.

How would you rate the cottage's fittings, furnishings and equipment?’
A property will achieve a rating of 5 Smiles down to 1 Smile, although it is our policy not to carry any properties with ratings lower than 3 Smiles. The customer chooses from the following ratings:
- Excellent
- Good
- Satisfactory
- Below standard
- Poor
Assistance dogs are of course welcome in all our cottages free of charge, however owners of them should be aware that a considerable number of people are allergic to dogs and in some cases can have a severe reaction. Owners are therefore encouraged, where at all possible, to choose a property which normally allows pets.
Some properties accept pets other than dogs, but in all cases we are required to confirm consent from the cottage owner. Please contact the office on 01208 821 666 if you would like to take a pet other than a dog with you to one of our cottages.
- Select the check box next to the week(s) you wish to book. Multiple weeks can only be booked consecutively. Non consecutive weeks must be booked separately.
- A summary of your booking will appear. To proceed with the booking select the 'Continue booking' button in the summary box. Deselect the weeks to remove the summary box.
- Weeks marked as 'Reserve' (highlighted in blue) cannot be booked at this point in time because availability and prices have not yet been agreed with the owner. You can reserve these weeks in your name until availability and pricing has been agreed. It is important to note that a 'Reserved' period can only be confirmed in your name if the owner wishes to make the Reserved period available for booking.
- 'Reserved' weeks (as opposed to 'Reserve' weeks) can only be booked by a customer who has 'Reserved' the highlighted period.
All prices are per week per property. Many properties promote an all inclusive price although some charge for extras such as bed linen, towels, heating and/or electricity. The Property description will detail any extra charges.
Booked: A customer has committed to a holiday period by paying a deposit or the full amount for a rental period.
Reserved: When a property is not yet available to be booked, a customer can 'Reserve' the property in their name on a first come first served basis. When Cornish Traditional Cottages and the owner have agreed availability and pricing for your selected period we will contact you to let you know if you can then book the property in your name. A Reservation does not guarantee a booking because the owner has first right of refusal on all availability.
Prices for short breaks are as follows:
- Up to 3 nights: 62% of the weekly price
- 4 nights: 71.5% of the weekly price
- 5 nights: 91% of the weekly price
- 6 nights: 100% of the weekly price
It is important to note that a 'Reserved' period can only be booked if the owner wishes to make the 'Reserved' period available for booking. Upon completion of your reservation you will receive confirmation by email or post containing details of the reservation.
