Within a 10 minute drive of the glorious sandy beaches of Bude and Widemouth Bay, this light and spacious detached bungalow is set in a peaceful rural location just over a mile outside the attractive village of Marhamchurch.
Cross Park enjoys tranquil views over the surrounding countryside and provides a perfect base for exploring the spectacular coastline of North Cornwall with the dramatic South West Coast Path and stunning beaches only 3 miles away.
Approached by a quiet country road, a couple of steps lead up to the fully glazed front door which opens to a central hallway. The bright and sunny accommodation consists of a dual aspect sitting room with comfortable seating and restful views of the countryside, a dining room overlooking the pleasant gardens, a modern newly fitted kitchen and a small garden room.
There are two bedrooms, a double with lovely rural views and a family room with a double and a single bed and a recently upgraded bathroom W.C. with hand basin and shower over the bath. All rooms look out over the unspoilt fields and farmland that surround the property and there is parking for 2 cars on the tarmac drive.
There is a sheltered lawned garden with a glimpse of the sea on the horizon and an integral garage houses the freezer, laundry facilities and secure storage space is available for bicycles and beachgear. Young children will require supervision as the grounds are not completely enclosed.
There is a traditional country inn serving homemade food in Marhamchurch just over a mile away and Bude with its sandy beaches, canal, leisure pool and excellent golf links is 3 miles by road. It is possible to walk or cycle to Bude along the old canal passing through farmland and a nature reserve, and there is also a surf school, fishing and horse riding available locally. The picturesque villages of Boscastle, Tintagel and Clovelly are all within half an hour’s drive.

Assistance dogs are of course welcome in all our cottages free of charge, however owners of them should be aware that a considerable number of people are allergic to dogs and in some cases can have a severe reaction. Owners are therefore encouraged, where at all possible, to choose a property which normally allows pets.
Some properties accept pets other than dogs, but in all cases we are required to confirm consent from the cottage owner. Please contact the office on 01208 821 666 if you would like to take a pet other than a dog with you to one of our cottages.

All prices are per week per property. Many properties promote an all inclusive price although some charge for extras such as bed linen, towels, heating and/or electricity. The Property description will detail any extra charges.
Booked: A customer has committed to a holiday period by paying a deposit or the full amount for a rental period.
Reserved: When a property is not yet available to be booked, a customer can 'Reserve' the property in their name on a first come first served basis. When Cornish Traditional Cottages and the owner have agreed availability and pricing for your selected period we will contact you to let you know if you can then book the property in your name. A Reservation does not guarantee a booking because the owner has first right of refusal on all availability.
Prices for short breaks are as follows:
- Up to 3 nights: 62% of the weekly price
- 4 nights: 71.5% of the weekly price
- 5 nights: 91% of the weekly price
- 6 nights: 100% of the weekly price
It is important to note that a 'Reserved' period can only be booked if the owner wishes to make the 'Reserved' period available for booking. Upon completion of your reservation you will receive confirmation by email or post containing details of the reservation.
