Property Details

With panoramic sea views across Gerrans Bay to Nare Head this completely renovated ground floor apartment is set in a tasteful development of eight properties just a moments walk from the coastal footpath in the quiet little fishing village of Portscatho. Double glazed and centrally heated, it is cosy at any time of year.

Approached from the shared parking area where there is one reserved space, a couple of steps lead up to an open patio garden with a picnic bench to enjoy the scenery and a double glazed front door opening into a small entrance lobby. An inner door leads through to a pleasantly furnished open plan living room with comfortable seating, a dining suite arranged before a picture window and a fitted kitchen area all enjoying marvellous views of the sea and coastline around the bay.

A narrow hallway leads to a bathroom W.C. with hand basin and shower over the bath and two bedrooms at the rear of the property with a double and childrens bunk beds respectively. The latter has a half glazed door leading out to a small enclosed gravel patio bounded on one side by the striking rock face and providing a secluded sitting out area and a place to enjoy the sun.

All the amenities of this attractive village, including a pub, restaurant, post office and general store are all just a 2 minute stroll away and there are a number of breathtaking cliff, creek and country walks in the local area.

The sandy cove of Porthcurnick beach is nearby and there are other smaller rocky beaches available in and around Portscatho at low tide. St Mawes is 6 miles away and the King Harry Ferry provides a convenient gateway to the cathedral city of Truro and Falmouth, home of the National Maritime Museum.
