Liskeard, 15 minutes drive, has a range of local shops, supermarket, and a leisure centre and Launceston with its ancient castle is 20 minutes. This is a wonderful base for walkers and wildlife enthusiasts to explore the beauty of Bodmin Moor nearby, and Siblyback Lake, 7 miles, offers trout fly fishing and a watersports centre. There are also riding stables and a variety of golf courses within easy reach.
