With uninterrupted views of the sea across Mounts Bay to the Lizard, this light and comfortable property is the entire upper level of a detached house set back from the road leading into the picturesque fishing village of Mousehole, only 200 yards from the harbour and local amenities.
Entered from the shared driveway where there is parking for one small car per property, a sloping lane leads up to the front door which opens beneath a porch roof into an entrance hallway with a coats area. To the left is a spacious double bedroom with lovely sea views, an adjacent bathroom W.C. with hand basin and shower over the bath, and to the right of the hall a door leads through to a newly fitted kitchen with New England style units and a breakfast bar with high stools. On the far side is a light and airy twin bedded room with dual aspect windows overlooking the sea and coastline.
From the breakfast area, two steps lead down to a bright and sunny living room with stripped wood flooring, an exposed granite wall, comfortable seating and a pine dining suite, all of which have panoramic views of the sea and St Michaels Mount from five large windows. In one corner of the room, a glazed door opens out to a small timber balcony with balustrade and glorious sea views.
The village is less than five minutes walk with a selection of small shops, restaurants and pubs and directly opposite the cottage is a public footpath with steps leading down to the rockpools below with a stoney beach and children's sea water bathing pool revealed at low tide. Newlyn and Marazion are only a short drive and can be reached by hoppa bus if preferred, and Penzance, 3 miles, is the gateway to the Isles of Scilly.

Our rating method, the popular "smiles" system is generated entirely by the feedback we receive from our visitors. The number of smiles is arrived at by taking the average grading given to the question:
How would you rate the cottage's fittings, furnishings and equipment?’
A property will achieve a rating of 5 Smiles down to 1 Smile, although it is our policy not to carry any properties with ratings lower than 3 Smiles. The customer chooses from the following ratings:

There is an extra charge for pets, most commonly at £18 pppw (per pet per week).
Assistance dogs are of course welcome in all our cottages free of charge, however owners of them should be aware that a considerable number of people are allergic to dogs and in some cases can have a severe reaction. Owners are therefore encouraged, where at all possible, to choose a property which normally allows pets.
Some properties accept pets other than dogs, but in all cases we are required to confirm consent from the cottage owner. Please contact the office on 01208 821 666 if you would like to take a pet other than a dog with you to one of our cottages.
