Set in a beautiful, peaceful rural location in a little hamlet, a short drive from the National Trust House and gardens of Lanhydrock and within walking distance of the wooded riverside walks and fishing at Respryn along the banks of the river Fowey.

This spacious, comfortable detached barn is entered from a landscaped garden which is bounded on one side by a trickling stream. The front door set beneath an open porch roof leads into a hallway with an adjacent shower room W.C. with vanity basin, a utility room with sink and a beamed fitted kitchen. The sitting / dining room in the original round house has beams rising to the apex of the roof and windows looking out over the gardens and the surrounding countryside. Two sets of French doors open out to a patio area.

There is one ground floor bedroom with twin beds. Upstairs are three further bedrooms, a single, a spacious 5ft double with rural views and a childrens single tucked under a sloping ceiling where there is a roof-lite. A bathroom W.C. with hand basin completes the accommodation. Toddlers and pets will need supervision in the garden and orchard across the lane due to the stream, changes of level and not being securely fenced. Pets are welcome but must be under control in this farming area. Central heating and double glazing make this an ideal location in autumn and in spring when the countryside is at its loveliest.

Bodmin and Lostwithiel have a good selection of shops, restaurants and pubs. The Eden project is 9 miles and Lanhydrock golf club, Bodmin steam railway and Bodmin sports centre are all within a few minutes drive.
