With lovely rural views, this pleasant quiet, secluded wing of the owners farmhouse is set on Bodrugan Farm, a large family run farm extending along the coast from Portmellon to Gorran Haven. It is a mile from the picturesque fishing village of Mevagissey, the Lost Gardens of Heligan are close by and the Eden Project is within easy reach.
Entered at the top level from the parking area where there is ample space for 2 cars and one step leads down to an enclosed patio garden. The fully glazed front door leads directly into a spacious bright and sunny open plan living room, with a well equipped fitted kitchen area, a good sized dining area and comfortable seating in front of a decorative stone fireplace, with an electric flicker fire.
One step leads up to an inner hallway and a large twin bedroom with an en-suite shower W.C. and hand basin.
Carpeted stairs lead down from the living room to a ground floor hallway where there are a cottage-style 5ft double bedroom and a large bathroom W.C. with hand basin and shower over the bath. A door leads out to a service courtyard where there is a convenient shared utility room with laundry facilities.
Visitors have the use of the shared heated indoor swimming pool (10 x 4 x 1.2metres) open 8am to 8pm available for year round use, and a sauna is available for a small charge. Beach towels are not provided in any of the properties.
Boats can be slipped at Portmellon and the bathing is safe. A secluded beach at Chapel Point can be reached by footpath through the fields.

When a property shows 'sleeps' in the format X-Y, X equals the maximum number of adults that can comfortably be accommodated and Y indicates the maximum number of adults + children that can be comfortably accommodated in the property.
Our rating method, the popular "smiles" system is generated entirely by the feedback we receive from our visitors. The number of smiles is arrived at by taking the average grading given to the question:

A property will achieve a rating of 5 Smiles down to 1 Smile, although it is our policy not to carry any properties with ratings lower than 3 Smiles. The customer chooses from the following ratings:

There is an extra charge for pets, most commonly at £20 pppw (per pet per week).
Assistance dogs are of course welcome in all our cottages free of charge, however owners of them should be aware that a considerable number of people are allergic to dogs and in some cases can have a severe reaction. Owners are therefore encouraged, where at all possible, to choose a property which normally allows pets.
Some properties accept pets other than dogs, but in all cases we are required to confirm consent from the cottage owner. Please contact the office on 01208 821 666 if you would like to take a pet other than a dog with you to one of our cottages.

A 5% loyalty discount is available at some properties for guests who have booked a second or further holiday within 2 years through Cornish Traditional Cottages. If you are eligible for the Loyalty Discount your final balance payment will be reduced accordingly after your booking has been submitted. The Loyalty Discount cannot be claimed with any other discount.
