ThisScandinavian style lodge, perfect for families or couples, is set within thegrounds of Lakeview Country Club, a mature 200 acre parkland setting withfishing lakes, golf course and an extensive choice of leisure facilities. Detached, double glazed and centrally heated,this privately owned lodge is ideal for either a relaxing break or forexploring the whole of Cornwall at any time of year with glorious sandy beacheson both the Atlantic and Riviera Coasts within a 30 minute drive. Approached from the shared tarmac parkingarea within the mature grounds, a short path leads to a paved patio at thefront of the property with wooden garden furniture and lighting for summerevenings. The fully glazed front dooropens directly into a light and airy open-plan kitchen and living room with atiled floor and sliding doors overlooking the paved patio and communal parkland. Furnished in a contemporary style there is aneatly fitted kitchen area with a range of modern units and integralappliances, a comfortable leather corner settee and a glass topped dining tableand chairs. At the rear of the propertyis a ground floor bedroom with three single beds, a built-in wardrobe and afully tiled en-suite shower room W.C. with vanity basin. A carpeted staircase leads up from the livingroom to a small landing, a master bedroom with a 5ft double and glazed doorsopening to a timber railed balcony with views of the tree shaded lawns. A bathroom W.C. with hand basin, jacuzzi bathand separate shower cubicle completes the first floor accommodation. Whatever the weather, there is something tokeep everyone happy on-site, from the indoor heated swimming pool, fitnesscentre, sauna, games room or health and beauty spa. There are also tennis courts, a 9-hole golfcourse, pitch and putt, driving range and 3 acres of coarse fishing lakes (someof which incur an additional cost). Theclub house has a bar and restaurant which is open for lunch and dinner. The nearby village of Lanivet, 1.5 miles, hasa local shop, post office and pub and for a wider range of amenities, the oldcounty town of Bodmin is 4 miles. TheCamel Trail, for walkers and cyclists is 3 miles away and stretches fromPadstow onto Bodmin Moor and the Eden Project is a 20 minute drive. There is a plenitude of picturesque villages,harbours and spectacular beaches within half an hour by car including Padstow,Port Isaac and Newquay on the north coast and Par Sands, Fowey and Charlestownon the south. Our rating method, the popular "smiles" system is generated entirely by the feedback we receive from our visitors. The number of smiles is arrived at by taking the average grading given to the question:

A property will achieve a rating of 5 Smiles down to 1 Smile, although it is our policy not to carry any properties with ratings lower than 3 Smiles. The customer chooses from the following ratings:

There is an extra charge for pets, most commonly at £18 pppw (per pet per week).
Assistance dogs are of course welcome in all our cottages free of charge, however owners of them should be aware that a considerable number of people are allergic to dogs and in some cases can have a severe reaction. Owners are therefore encouraged, where at all possible, to choose a property which normally allows pets.
Some properties accept pets other than dogs, but in all cases we are required to confirm consent from the cottage owner. Please contact the office on 01208 821 666 if you would like to take a pet other than a dog with you to one of our cottages.

A 5% loyalty discount is available at some properties for guests who have booked a second or further holiday within 2 years through Cornish Traditional Cottages. If you are eligible for the Loyalty Discount your final balance payment will be reduced accordingly after your booking has been submitted. The Loyalty Discount cannot be claimed with any other discount.
- Select the check box next to the week(s) you wish to book. Multiple weeks can only be booked consecutively. Non consecutive weeks must be booked separately.
- A summary of your booking will appear. To proceed with the booking select the 'Continue booking' button in the summary box. Deselect the weeks to remove the summary box.
- Weeks marked as 'Reserve' (highlighted in blue) cannot be booked at this point in time because availability and prices have not yet been agreed with the owner. You can reserve these weeks in your name until availability and pricing has been agreed. It is important to note that a 'Reserved' period can only be confirmed in your name if the owner wishes to make the Reserved period available for booking.
- 'Reserved' weeks (as opposed to 'Reserve' weeks) can only be booked by a customer who has 'Reserved' the highlighted period.
Pricing information
All prices are per week per property. Many properties promote an all inclusive price although some charge for extras such as bed linen, towels, heating and/or electricity. The Property description will detail any extra charges.
