With sweeping views of the sea and coastline across to Looe Island, Ahoy the Slip is the entire lower ground floor of a 19th century detached double glazed house set in a quiet elevated position directly above the lane leading down to the beach 150 yards away.
Approached by a narrow private road, a flight of walled concrete steps (49 in all) lead down from the parking layby above, to a small south facing patio which fronts the self contained apartment and catches the morning sun.
Two steps lead up to the front door which opens to a hallway and to one side is a comfortably furnished sitting/dining room with panoramic sea views, a warm rug on the wooden floor, multi fuel stove set in the small hearth and a sofa bed for alternative sleeping arrangements.
At the rear of the living room, a door leads through to a neat kitchen with modern fitted units and beyond is a fully tiled wet room with W.C. hand basin and walk in shower area. On the opposite side of the entrance hall is a bright and spacious bedroom with a 5ft double bed and magnificent sea and coastal views.
Accessed via the master bedroom and also from the garden, a door and one step leads up to the second bedroom at the rear of the house with two single beds, an en-suite shower room W.C. with hand basin and wide shower cubicle, and a patio door leading out to a small lawn for the exclusive use of the visitors. Young children and pets will require supervision outside as the grounds are not enclosed.
There is visitor parking for two cars on site and all the village amenities, including a shop/P.O., pub overlooking the beach, coffee shop and restaurant, are just a couple of minutes walk down the hill. There is easy access onto the sand and shingle beach with rock pools just 150 yards away, and the twin village of Seaton, one mile along the coast has a large sandy beach located at the bottom of the beautiful Seaton Valley. Both beaches are currently all year dog friendly beaches. A community bus service operates within the local area, there are several golf courses nearby and the attractive fishing harbour at Looe is about 8 miles away. At 'Bake Lakes' less than 2 miles away there is an opportunity to do fly fishing.
Please note: Towels are available at £4 per person per week to be paid on arrival.

How would you rate the cottage's fittings, furnishings and equipment?’
A property will achieve a rating of 5 Smiles down to 1 Smile, although it is our policy not to carry any properties with ratings lower than 3 Smiles. The customer chooses from the following ratings:
- Excellent

Assistance dogs are of course welcome in all our cottages free of charge, however owners of them should be aware that a considerable number of people are allergic to dogs and in some cases can have a severe reaction. Owners are therefore encouraged, where at all possible, to choose a property which normally allows pets.
Some properties accept pets other than dogs, but in all cases we are required to confirm consent from the cottage owner. Please contact the office on 01208 821 666 if you would like to take a pet other than a dog with you to one of our cottages.
- Select the check box next to the week(s) you wish to book. Multiple weeks can only be booked consecutively. Non consecutive weeks must be booked separately.
- A summary of your booking will appear. To proceed with the booking select the 'Continue booking' button in the summary box. Deselect the weeks to remove the summary box.
- Weeks marked as 'Reserve' (highlighted in blue) cannot be booked at this point in time because availability and prices have not yet been agreed with the owner. You can reserve these weeks in your name until availability and pricing has been agreed. It is important to note that a 'Reserved' period can only be confirmed in your name if the owner wishes to make the Reserved period available for booking.
- 'Reserved' weeks (as opposed to 'Reserve' weeks) can only be booked by a customer who has 'Reserved' the highlighted period.
All prices are per week per property. Many properties promote an all inclusive price although some charge for extras such as bed linen, towels, heating and/or electricity. The Property description will detail any extra charges.
Booked: A customer has committed to a holiday period by paying a deposit or the full amount for a rental period.
Reserved: When a property is not yet available to be booked, a customer can 'Reserve' the property in their name on a first come first served basis. When Cornish Traditional Cottages and the owner have agreed availability and pricing for your selected period we will contact you to let you know if you can then book the property in your name. A Reservation does not guarantee a booking because the owner has first right of refusal on all availability.

- Up to 3 nights: 62% of the weekly price
- 4 nights: 71.5% of the weekly price
- 5 nights: 91% of the weekly price
- 6 nights: 100% of the weekly price
